摘要: A damper includes a piston provided with a rod, and a housing storing the piston, and generates a braking force by an operation of the piston. The piston includes a seal member relative to an inner wall of the housing; and a slider contacting the inner wall of the housing with a predetermined frictional force. When the braking force is generated, the slider presses against the seal member, and a portion contacting the inner wall of the housing in the seal member deforms toward an outside of the housing. At an inner side of the portion contacting the inner wall of the housing in the seal member, a deformation control portion is provided, which suppresses the seal member from deforming toward an inside of the housing.

摘要: An adjustable shock absorber includes a base unit, a primary cylinder, a shock rod, a main piston, a biasing member, a hydraulic adjusting unit, a secondary cylinder, a floating piston, a valve module, and a micro-adjusting unit. When an impact force is exerted on the shock rod against a biasing force of the biasing member to force a working liquid to flow from a primary chamber into a liquid sub-chamber of the secondary cylinder, a working gas in a gas sub-chamber of the secondary cylinder is compressed to generate a damping force to act on the working liquid so as to permit the working liquid to flow back to the primary chamber. The damping force can be adjusted by adjusting a needle valve of the micro-adjusting unit.

摘要: The present invention is a system for adjusting the height of vehicles. The vehicle is supported by a hollow cylinder and a piston having an undersized piston skirt is mounted on the suspension system's coil spring, and sealingly slidable within the cylinder bore. When a fluid is introduced into the expandable pressure space between the piston and the cylinder top, the piston and cylinder are forced apart, raising the vehicle. The undersized piston skirt can extend beyond the end of the cylinder, allowing the piston a greater travel length within the cylinder bore. The invention may be operated manually by a vehicle driver through push buttons, which can be the vehicle's existing cruise control buttons. Alternatively, the system can be automated using a control unit to automatically adjust ground clearance to avoid collision with obstacles in the vehicle's path. In another embodiment, the lift system, or any lift system, is prevented from activating, and deactivates (if previously activated) if the vehicle is travelling at excessive speed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a vibration energy harvest device. In the present invention, the vibration energy harvest device is provided for being used to recycle the mechanical energy and thermal energy generated during the vibration, and effectively to improve the power generation efficiency with newly added hydraulic motor and electricity generating unit. Wherein by using an ameliorating valve module and removing the damping hole in the prior art, no matter the damping oil flows from inner cylinder module through hydraulic motor to outer cylinder module or the contrary direction, the flowing damping oil could avoid the hydraulic motor from reciprocating to improve the power generation efficiency.

摘要: A vibration damper module is described with a first member adapted for coupling to one of the vehicle and seat, and a shock absorber adapted to be coupled to the other of the vehicle and seat. The first member may take the form of a housing within which the shock absorber is substantially disposed. A latch selectively couples and decouples the housing to the shock absorber to respectively apply and relieve the application of the dampening force from the shock absorber to the seat which dampens vibrations in the seat. The shock absorber may include an external housing carrying a latch gripping surface, such as a plurality of teeth. The latch may comprise at least one latch arm having a latch surface. The latch arm may be shifted to a first position in which the latch surface and latch gripping surface are engaged to couple the first member to the shock absorber and to a second position wherein these components are disengaged. The latch arm may be pivoted to the housing with the housing also pivoted to one of the vehicle and seat. The shock absorber may also be slidably coupled to the housing. In addition, the shock absorber may apply a non-linear dampening force to the seat when the latch arm is in the first position.

摘要: A berth apparatus and method for promoting relaxation and/or inducing sleep in a recumbent passenger occupying a berth belonging to the berth apparatus. The apparatus is mounted in a vehicle and has a secondary suspension with a vibration detection system and a motion management system. The berth may execute motion in all six degrees of freedom with at least the vertical degree of freedom being monitored for unwanted motion. The motion management system has a motion removing component for removing unwanted motion in at least the vertical degree of freedom, and it also has a motion adding component to add to the berth a desirable motion of low frequency and small amplitude in at least one degree of freedom based on a physiological parameter, e.g., the inhalation cycle of the recumbent passenger. The apparatus and method may further use a vibration transfer element to transfer motion in one degree of freedom, such as horizontal displacement, to another degree of freedom, such as roll.
