摘要: A method of bonding two shaped bodies S1 and S2 including the steps of: a) providing shaped body S1; b) arranging shaped body S2 wherein shaped body S1, forming cavity between two shaped bodies, c) introducing one-component thermosetting epoxy resin compositions into cavity, wherein one-component thermosetting epoxy resin composition is one-component thermosetting epoxy resin composition including: at least one epoxy resin A having average of more than one epoxy group per molecule; at least one curing agent B for epoxy resins activated by elevated temperature; at least one polyester polyol PP obtainable by reaction of at least one diol having structure HO—(CH2)x′—OH the value of x′=2-10, and —at least one dicarboxylic acid having structure HOOC—(CH2)y′—COOH and derivatives of dicarboxylic acid, value of y′=8-18, and wherein proportion of polyester polyol PP is 1.5% to 20% by weight, based on total weight of one-component thermosetting epoxy resin composition.

摘要: A system of connected body elements for a motor vehicle includes a first body element and a second body element. The first body element has at least one duct on a surface, wherein a shoulder is formed next to the duct. The system furthermore includes an adhesive which is arranged at least partially in the duct and at least partially on the shoulder and adhesively bonds the first body element to the second body element. A connection region, directly adjoining the shoulder, of the surface of the first body element is free here from adhesive. A first space between shoulder and second body element and a second space between connection region and second body element are open towards each other.

摘要: Heat-curing epoxy resin compositions are characterized by high impact strength, good storage stability, and a low curing temperature. The epoxy resin compositions are suitable for use as a construction shell adhesive and for producing structural foams. They can already be cured in so-called bottom-baking conditions. Furthermore, it has been found that the use of an accelerator of the formula (Ia) or (Ib) results in an increase of the impact strength of heat-curing epoxy resin compositions.
