Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a hearing system comprising a first hearing device configured for arrangement in an ear canal of a first ear of a user and a second hearing device configured for arrangement proximate to the first hearing device at the first ear of the user. The first hearing device and the second hearing device may each include a microphone, a signal processing unit, a loudspeaker, and a battery, such that both the first hearing device and the second hearing device are configured to function as a hearing device independently and when combined. In addition, the second hearing device may be configured to charge the battery of the first hearing device.

Abstract: This invention relates to an earpiece (1) for coupling a hearing aid (10) to the ear (20) of a hearing aid user, comprising a seal (2) conforming to the shape of the user's ear canal (30) and therein retained; wherein the seal (2) comprises a sound output bore (3) connected to a receiver (11) of the hearing aid (10); and a multiplicity of through openings (4) spaced around the sound output bore (3). The number of the openings (4) is comprised in a range of 50 to 2000; and the openings (4) have diameters in the range of 50 to 250 micrometers. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such an earpiece (1).

The first sensor electrode and the second sensor electrode may be configured to be used to detect a physiological attribute of the user while the hearing system is worn by the user. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: A shell (10) for a hearing device, and a method of producing the same. The shell (10) comprises a sub-shell (11) produced by a generative method, and a thermoformed hull (12) covering the subshell (11). The sub-shell (11) comprises lateral openings (13) covered by the thermoformed hull (12) so as to render the shell (10) more flexible in the region of the openings (13), and thereby to relieve pressure exerted by the shell (10) due to dynamic changes in the shape of the wearer's ear canal during jaw movement.
