Abstract: To obtain a more accurate image by improving a utilization efficiency of light energy while at the same time suppressing with a simpler method distortion that may occur in an inline hologram when a plurality of lights having different wavelengths are used, an observation device (1) according to the present disclosure includes a light source part (11) in which a plurality of light emitting diodes (101) having different light emission wavelengths with a length of each light emission point being smaller than 100λ (λ: light emission wavelength) are arranged such that a separation distance between the adjacent light emitting diodes is equal to or smaller than 100λ (λ: light emission wavelength); and an image sensor (13) installed so as to be opposed to the light source part with respect to an observation target object.

Abstract: A measurement apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a light source, a filling portion, and a detector. The light source emits illumination light. The filling portion includes a first surface portion and a second surface portion which are provided on an optical path of the illumination light and are opposite to each other, the filling portion enabling a cavity between the first and second surface portions to be filled with liquid including a cell. The detector detects an interference fringe of the illumination light passing through the cavity, the interference fringe being caused by the liquid including the cell.

Abstract: A wide angle image to be displayed on a screen fixed on the head or the face of a user is processed. When a display view angle reaches a boundary of an original wide angle image 701, an indicator 703 indicating reaching the boundary is added to a free viewpoint image 702. The indicator 703 is a part of the free viewpoint image 702 which is in contact with a boundary 704 of the wide angle image 701 or protrudes from the boundary 704 and is displayed as a black-painted frame. By observing such the indicator 703, the user can intuitively understand that the display area reaches the limit of the wide angle image.
