Abstract: Laser hazard at disconnection can be prevented with a simple structure. A tubular connector exterior, and a block that is incorporated on one end side of the connector exterior and on which a light emission portion or a light incident portion is mounted toward the other end side are provided. The light emission portion or the light incident portion is mounted on the block so that the optical axis direction thereof is tilted relative to the longitudinal direction of the connector exterior. The light emission portion is a lens through which light output from a light transmission path is collimated and emitted. At least part of the collimated light emitted through the lens is incident on a light diffusion portion provided inside the connector exterior.

The present technology is applicable to a recording medium recording graphics.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method and a program, and a recording medium that can generate graphics in colors in a predetermined dynamic range from the data of graphics of colors in a plurality of dynamic ranges. A processor identifies an SDR PDS that is an information item of a color in the SDR available for the graphics, an HDR PDS that is an information item of a color in the HDR available for the graphics from a graphics stream including the SDR PDS, and the HDR PDS, and a segment_type used to identify the SDR PDS and the HDR PDS on the basis of the segment_type. A CLUT management unit generates the SDR graphics on the basis of the SDR PDS identified by the processor. The present disclosure can be applied, for example, to a reproducing device.

A data processing unit that performs a reproduction process of a disc recording data acquires a playlist file or a clip information file as a reproduction control information file corresponding to reproduction data recorded in a disc, determines whether or not an ultra-high definition (UHD) image is recorded in the disc based on recording data of such a file, and, in a case where the ultra-high definition (UHD) image is recorded in the disc, acquires image information of the ultra-high definition (UHD) image from the reproduction control information and controls output data for a display apparatus based on the acquired image information.

The present technology is applicable, for example, to a data generation apparatus that generates data for delivering a point cloud.

The reproducing device of the present technology acquires reproduction management information in which a first flag indicating whether or not encoded data of a first HDR video which is mandatory when a video of a luminance range wider than a standard luminance range is included in content is included in the content and a second flag indicating whether or not encoded data of a second HDR video that is likely to be included in the content is included in the content are described. Further, the reproducing device reproduces the encoded data of the first HDR video or the encoded data of the second HDR video on the basis of the details of the first flag and the second flag and performance of a display serving as an output destination. The present technology can be applied to a Blu-ray disc player.

Abstract: It is possible to accurately and securely execute conversion from an MPEG-2TS format to an MP4 format. A data converting unit that executes format conversion from an MPEG-2TS format to an MP4 format sorts out TS packets storing video data from MPEG-2TS format data, selects a TS packet having a start code (SC) at the top of a payload on the basis of header information of the sorted out TS packets, and extracts payload configuration data other than the start code (SC) and sets the payload configuration data as configuration data of MP4 format data. The data converting unit determines, on the basis of, for example, a value of a transport priority set in a header of the TS packet, whether or not the TS packet is a TS packet in which a start code (SC) is set in a top region of a payload.
