Abstract: A method includes calculating, for a motor, a voltage constraint and calculating, for the motor, a supply current constraint and a regenerative current constraint. The method also includes calculating, for the motor, a motor current constraint and determining, for the motor, a first operating torque based on the voltage constraint, the supply current constraint, and the motor current constraint. The method also includes at least one of selectively controlling the motor based on the first operating torque and generating information associated with the first operating torque.

Abstract: A method for determining motor velocity includes receiving motor sensor data from at least one motor sensor associated with an electric motor, the motor sensor data including a plurality of motor sensor measurements and respective time values; determining an average time value based on the respective time values for each motor sensor measurement; generating a first gain value, a second gain value, and a third gain value, the first gain value being generated based on at least the average time value; and estimating a motor velocity based on at least one motor sensor measurement, the average time value, the first gain value, the second gain value, the third gain value, and at least one previously estimated motor velocity.

Abstract: A method for diagnosing an input power supply providing power to a motor includes: applying, using the input power supply, a power stimulus to the motor; measuring a response to the power stimulus; calculating, based on the response to the power stimulus, a metric indicative of a status of the input power supply; determining a degraded condition of the input power supply based on the metric indicative of the status of the input power supply; and performing an action in response to determining a degraded condition of the input power supply. The action may include one or more of: limiting an output power supplied to the motor; generating a diagnostic trouble code; and/or notifying an operator of the degraded condition of the input power supply.
