Abstract: A measurement system includes a measurement device including a light source, and a first power meter, and one or a plurality of connection members each configured to optically connect a pair of optical fiber lines of the plurality of optical fiber lines. A first optical fiber line of the pair of optical fiber lines includes a first end and a second end, a second optical fiber line of the pair of optical fiber lines includes a third end and a fourth end, the one or plurality of connection members optically connect the second end to the fourth end, the light source causes testing light to be incident on the first end, and the first power meter measures first intensity of first output light output from the third end by causing the testing light to propagate through the pair of optical fiber lines.

Abstract: A measurement system is a measurement system inspecting an optical transmission line configured by connecting a plurality of optical cables, each of which includes a plurality of optical fibers, wherein the optical transmission line includes a plurality of optical fiber lines configured by connecting the plurality of optical fibers in the plurality of optical cables, the measurement system including: a first measurement device configured to be disposed at a first end of the optical transmission line; and a second measurement device configured to be disposed at a second end of the optical transmission line, wherein the first measurement device and the second measurement device perform a first measurement to inspect whether the optical cable is misconnected, and a second measurement to inspect the plurality of optical fiber lines in a case where it is determined that there is no misconnection in the first measurement.

Abstract: An optical connection structure including first optical fibers, second optical fibers, a first optical connector, and a second optical connector is disclosed. The first optical connector is configured such that each of first distal end portions of the first optical fibers protrudes from a first front end surface to the outside when the first optical connector and the second optical connector are connected to each other. Each of the first distal end portions is inserted into a corresponding second fiber hole of the second optical connector. The second optical connector is configured such that each of second distal end portions of the second optical fibers is moved rearward inside second fiber holes due to each of the first distal end portions respectively inserted into the second fiber holes. The first optical fibers and the second optical fibers are optically coupled to each other inside the second fiber holes.

Abstract: An optical communication system comprises N server racks, first and second distribution frames, and first and second optical fiber cables. Abstract: An optical connector is disclosed. The optical connector includes a rear housing, an inner housing, and an outer housing. The inner housing includes a retaining hole to accommodate a ferrule. The outer housing is disposed on an outer periphery of the inner housing to cover a front portion of the inner housing. The outer housing rotates about the central axis with respect to the inner housing by a rotation guiding mechanism cooperating with an adapter for connecting the optical connector to another optical connector. The outer housing includes a front wall covering the distal end of the inner housing. The front wall includes at least one opening region. The opening region corresponds to a fiber exposed surface of the ferrule when the outer housing is rotated with respect to the inner housing from an initial position to a connected position by the rotation guiding mechanism.
