摘要： A coaxial connector comprising a first insulator (29), a second insulator (31), and a straight-line contact (21) disposed between the first and second insulators is disclosed. The straight-line contact comprises a first conductive plate and a second conductive plate, which are superimposedly combined, wherein each of the first and second conductive plates includes a first contact (25), a second contact (27), and a base plate (23) from which the first and second contacts extend in the same directions, thus including a pair of the base plates. The first contact and the second contact are arranged alternately in parallel rows in the longitudinal direction of the base plate. The first insulator comprises, on the side facing the second insulator, a groove (49) for accommodating the end portions of the first and second contacts for supporting thereof, and a guide means for guiding a mating element which is to be connected to the straight-line contact. The second insulator includes, on the side facing the first insulator, a pair of grooves for accommodating the base plate for each of the first contact and the second contact.

摘要： An electrical connector for electrically connecting terminal pins of a circuit package to a circuitry of another circuit board having quasi-terminal pins for elastically pre-bending pairs of spring arms of contact elements in the connector. The connector is provided with an insulator base member for embracing the contact elements, and an insulator cover member slidably overlying the base member. The base member has recesses for permitting the spring arm pair to elastically bend. The cover member has penetrating holes for introducing the conductive pins into the recesses. The quasi-terminal pins are attached to the cover member adjacent to the penetrating holes, respectively, each of which is inserted between the spring arms and are in press-contact with them. Thus, the spring arms are pre-bent to facilitate an insertion of the terminal pin into a space between spring arms. The circuit package is adapted to the connector so that the terminal pins are introduced into the recesses through the penetrating holes. When the circuit package is slided along the base member, each of the terminal pins is laterally shifted to be inserted into a space between the spring arms and then each of quasi-terminal pins is shifted to go away from the spring arms. Therefore, the terminal pins are pinched between the spring arms to thereby be electrically connected to the contact elements. Preferably, each of the spring arms is provided with a guide leaf for guiding insertion of the quasi-terminal which is inserted thereinto.

摘要： For electrically connecting a conductive terminal member (13) to an electric circuit board (12), an electrical connector includes a contact member (30) which comprises a terminal pin element (31) and a mating contact element (32) as individual parts. The terminal pin element is inserted into a through hole (14) and secured to the electric circuit board by soldering. The mating contact element is mated with the terminal pin element within an insulator housing (16) so that it is possible to correct position error of a contact portion (42) of the mating contact element. The conductive terminal member is inserted into the insulator housing and is then moved by a driving member (17) which is slidable along the insulator housing. Therefore, the conductive terminal member is brought into contact with a contract portion of the mating contact element. As a result, electrical connection is reliably made between the terminal member and an electrical circuit on the electric circuit board.

摘要： A coaxial pin array connector comprises a top member having guide holes corresponding to coaxial cables, and an intermediate, conductive member having throughholes, respectively corresponding to and aligned with the guide holes. A bottom, insulative member is provided having first throughholes for admitting signal pins of a circuit board and second throughholes for admitting grounding pins of the circuit board and recesses for receiving power pins of the circuit board. Conductive cylindrical hollow structures are respectively positioned in the throughholes of the intermediate member and extend between the top and bottom members to allow the coaxial cable pins to be admitted from the guide holes to the bottom member and make electrical contact with the signal pins. Each of the hollow structures has inwardly bent contacts for making pressure contact with the pin of a corresponding coaxial cable and an outwardly bent contact forming a pair of contacts with the outwardly bent contact of an adjacent hollow structure so that one of the grounding pins engages between the paired contacts when inserted through one of the second throughholes of the bottom member.

摘要： For facilitating an electrical connection of a conductive connection pin (7) to a conductive contact (11) held to a base insulator (13), an electrical connector includes a preload pin (23) which is for carrying out beforehand displacement of a contact portion (21) of the conductive contact at a first position. The preload pin is held to a slider (19) which is placed between the base insulator and a cover insulator (17) and which is movable in a predetermined direction. The cover insulator and the slider have guide and elongated holes (15, 25), respectively, for passing the connection pin therethrough. The elongated hole is greater than the connection pin in a size of the predetermined direction. Therefore, it is possible without movement of the connection pin to move the preload pin in the predetermined direction to a second position at which the preload pin does not carry out the displacement of the contact portion.

Each of the contacts comprises two portions extending in the different directions. The ratio of two portions of each one of contacts is different from that of the different one of contacts. In order to avoid production of various contacts which are different from one another in shape and dimension, the connector comprises a main element of an insulator substrate and conductive strip lines formed thereon, and contact elements like one another fixed to the insulator substrate to project from, and in directions normal to, adjacent side edges of the insulator substrate, respectively. The conductive strip lines have a length equal to each other and first and second ends near the adjacent side edges and are electrically connected to the contact elements. The contact elements are used for making connection with the first and the second connection objects.

摘要： A power supply structure for a multichip package is provided to improve the transmission performance of signals. Cases are fitted onto one face of a ceramic substrate. On the other face are aligned substrates. On each of the substrates are erected I/O pins. The I/O pins are connected to signal pins of LSIs via the ceramic substrate's internal layer. On side faces of the substrates are provided power supply pads. To the power supply pads are connected the power supply pins of the LSIs via the ceramic substrate's internal layer. When power is to be supplied, electroconductive bars are inserted between the substrates. The electroconductive bars supply power to the LSIs via the power supply pads. A cable is connected to one of the I/O pins.
