Abstract:
A display device includes a substrate including a conductive pad, a driving chip facing the substrate and including a conductive bump electrically connected to the conductive pad and an inspection bump which is insulated from the conductive pad, and an adhesive member which is between the conductive pad and the driving chip and connects the conductive pad to the driving chip. The adhesive member includes a first adhesive layer including a conductive ball; and a second adhesive layer facing the first adhesive layer, the second adhesive layer including a first area including a color-changing material, and a second area adjacent to the first area and excluding the color-changing material.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting diode display includes a first transistor on a substrate, a first electrode connected to the first transistor, and a pixel definition layer on the first electrode. The pixel definition layer has an opening exposing the first electrode. A spacer is formed at the opening. An organic emission layer is on the exposed first electrode, and a second electrode on the organic emission layer.
Abstract:
A display device includes a first substrate, first signal lines, and a first signal pad array. The first signal pads each includes a first pad portion connected to a corresponding first signal line, a second pad portion having a width larger than that of the first pad portion, and a third pad portion connecting the first pad portion with the second pad portion and having a width smaller than the width of the second pad portion. The first signal pads are disposed in a shape symmetrical with respect to an imaginary line. Each first signal pad has an angle between a direction in which the third pad portion is extended and a direction in which the second pad portion is extended. The angle of a first signal pad closer to the imaginary line is smaller than the angle of another first signal pad further away from the imaginary line.
Abstract:
A display device may include a first substrate having a display area and a non-display area, a second substrate opposite the first substrate, a light shielding sealant on at least one side surface of the first and second substrates, and a first polarizer on at least one surface of the first and second substrates. The first polarizer may intersect an imaginary surface extending from the at least one side surface.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a display device includes disposing a polarizing layer on one surface of a display panel including a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode, cutting the polarizing layer using a first laser beam so that a step between a side surface of the polarizing layer and a side surface of the display panel is smaller than a predetermined value, attaching a conductive film to the side surface of the display panel, and patterning the conductive film using a second laser beam.
