    摘要: A display panel includes a plurality of pixels which is arranged in a pixel column and a pixel row, a gate line which is connected to pixels in a same pixel row, a first data line which is connected to pixels in a same pixel column, and a second data line which is connected to remaining pixels except for the pixels connected to the first data line among the pixels in the same pixel column. Two odd-numbered pixel rows and two even-numbered pixel rows are alternately driven so that a charge period of the pixel may be extended by 2H. In addition, a kickback difference between the odd-numbered pixel row and the even-numbered pixel row may be decreased so that a display quality may be improved.

    摘要: A display apparatus includes a display panel including a driving part arranged along one side of the display panel, the display panel including a plurality of first gate lines that zigzag across the display in a diagonal direction between the first and second directions by alternately extending in the first and the second directions. The display device includes a first display area and a second display area, pixels within the first display area always receiving gate signals from a driving part connected to an end of the first gate lines. Within the second display area, a second gate lines extending in the first direction may be electrically connected to the first gate lines that relay gate signals to the first gate lines. This results in a reduced peripheral area of the display area, so that many displays can be combined together to produce a single image.

    摘要: An electric-field exposure method includes forming a display cell. The display cell comprises a pixel electrode electrically connected to a data line and a gate line. A guard-ring line surrounds a display area on which the pixel electrode is disposed. A common electrode overlaps the guard-ring line. A resistance division part is connected to a node which is connected to a data pad and a gate pad. A first electrode and a second electrode are provided with first and second electronic signals, respectively. The first electrode is connected to the guard-ring line. The second electrode is electrically connected to the common electrode. The node is provided with a divided signal obtained by dividing the first and second signals through the resistance division part.

    摘要: A display device includes a first substrate comprising a pixel area a first pixel electrode on the pixel area and a second pixel electrode overlapping the first pixel electrode; a second substrate including a common electrode and facing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first pixel electrode includes first and second sides parallel to a side of the pixel area; third and fourth sides respectively extending from first ends of the first and second sides, inclined with respect to the first and second sides and parallel to each other; and fifth and sixth sides parallel to each other, and connecting the second and first sides with the third and fourth sides, respectively. An acute angle between each of the third to sixth sides, with respect to the first and second sides, exceeds about 135 degrees.
