    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a driving controller, a gate driver, an emission driver and a data driver. The display panel includes a pixel including a driving switching element and a light emitting element. The driving controller is configured to determine a driving frequency varied according to input image data or a driving mode. The gate driver is configured to output a gate signal and a bias control signal to the pixel. The emission driver is configured to output an emission signal to the pixel. The data driver is configured to output a data voltage to the pixel. The bias control signal to apply a bias voltage to the driving switching element has a first width in a writing frame and a second width different from the first width in a holding frame.

    Abstract: A display device includes a foldable display panel including first and second display areas configured to fold along a folding axis extending in a first direction, a first sensing line coupled to pixels in the first display area, and a second sensing line coupled to pixels in the second display area, a sensing unit coupled to the first and second sensing lines, and configured to generate first and second sensing data by sensing current of the pixels coupled to the first sensing line and to the second sensing line, and a timing controller configured to generate compensation data provided to the pixels in the first and second display areas based on the first and second sensing data, respectively, wherein the first and second sensing lines extend in a second direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and wherein the first and second sensing lines are alternately arranged.

    Abstract: An embodiment provides a display device including: a light emitting diode; a driving transistor configured to supply a current to the light emitting diode; a switching transistor having an input electrode connected to a data line; and a voltage transmitting capacitor disposed between an output electrode of the switching transistor and a gate electrode of the driving transistor, wherein a data voltage applied to the data line may be transmitted to the gate electrode of the driving transistor through the voltage transmitting capacitor, and the data voltage may have a data voltage value from which a voltage variation variable is removed based on leakage of the switching transistor.

    Abstract: An OLED display device includes a display panel including first and second partial panel regions, a scan driver configured to sequentially apply scan signals to the first and second partial panel regions in a normal driving mode, and to sequentially apply the scan signals to a driven one of the first and second partial panel regions in a partial driving mode, and a data driver configured to apply data signals to the first and second partial panel regions in the normal driving mode, and to apply the data signals to the driven one of the first and second partial panel regions in the partial driving mode. In the partial driving mode, the scan driver is configured to sequentially apply diode initialization signals to the driven one of the first and second partial panel regions, and to concurrently apply the diode initialization signals to a non-driven one of the first and second partial panel regions.
