Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a display panel; a light source which provides a light to the display panel; a light guide plate which receives the light from the light source on a surface thereof and guides the light to another surface thereof; a polarization member on a surface of the display panel facing the light guide plate; and a frame chassis comprising a fastening portion inserted in a space between the display panel and the light guide plate. The fastening portion has a thickness substantially equal to a thickness of the polarization member.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a backlight unit. The display panel is curved along a first direction. The backlight unit includes an upper surface, and a lower surface having a curvature different from a curvature of the upper surface.
