Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a driving controller, a gate driver and a data driver. The driving controller is configured to insert a compensation image to first image data including a normal image to generate second image data. The gate driver is configured to shift an output time of a gate signal and to output the gate signal having a shifted output time to the display panel. The data driver is configured to generate a data voltage based on the second image data and to output the data voltage to the display panel. A gate shift amount when the compensation image is applied is substantially the same as a gate shift amount immediately before the compensation image is applied.

A method of manufacturing a display device includes forming a display unit on a substrate and sealing the display unit from external moisture or oxygen by forming an encapsulating unit. The forming of the encapsulating unit includes forming an inorganic layer. The forming of the inorganic layer includes forming a first layer, forming one or more first particles on an upper surface of the first layer, and forming a second layer on the first layer and the first particles.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, controller configured to generate a second data enable signal and second image data based on a first data enable signal and first image data, and generate an output data enable signal and output image data by performing a black data insertion operation, and data driver configured to provide data signals based on the output data enable signal and the output image data, where the controller obtains a delay time between the first data enable signal and the second data enable signal or the first image data and the second image data, determines a number of subsequent pulses of the output data enable signal during a period from one time point within a frame period to an end time point of the frame period, and adjusts a cycle of the subsequent pulses based on the delay time and the number of the subsequent pulses.
