    Abstract: A head mount display device includes a display device and a processor. The display device includes an image compensator, a data driver, a scan driver, a timing controller, and a display panel. The image compensator receives an image data corresponding to a user's field of view and motion information, calculates a scaling value that controls a size of a masking area that controls a range of the user's field of view by masking a peripheral portion of an image corresponding to the image data based on the motion information, and generates compensation image data based on the image data and the scaling value.

    Abstract: A gamma correction method is disclosed that performs gamma correction for a display device. A plurality of correction matrices respectively corresponding to a plurality of spectrums of different test display devices is obtained. A spectrum of the display device is measured. A correction matrix corresponding to the spectrum of the display device is selected from the plurality of correction matrices. Tristimulus data of the display device are measured and the measured tristimulus data are converted into perception tristimulus data by using the selected correction matrix. The gamma correction for the display device is performed based on the perception tristimulus data.

    Abstract: A display system includes a display region including a plurality of sub display apparatuses and a host processor which divides source image data into a plurality of sub input image data corresponding to the plurality of sub display apparatuses, and provides the plurality of sub input image data to the plurality of sub display apparatuses.
