    Abstract: A display device includes: a display unit; and a color converter on the display unit and including a color converting layer and a transmission layer, a bank between the color converting layer and the transmission layer, a first layer on the color converting layer, the transmission layer, and the bank, a second layer on the first layer, a third layer on the second layer, and a color filter on the third layer. The first layer includes a first sub-layer with a first refractive index equal to or greater than about 1.4 and less than about 1.8, and a second sub-layer with a second refractive index equal to or greater than about 1.8 and equal to or less than about 2.0. The second layer has a refractive index smaller than those of the first layer. The third layer has a refractive index greater than that of the second layer.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device including disposing an alignment solution including an alignment agent, reactive mesogens and a solvent on at least one of a first substrate or a second substrate. The alignment solution is cured to form a main alignment layer. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The main alignment layer and the liquid crystal layer are heated to elute the reactive mesogens into the liquid crystal layer.     Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a light source to provide a first color light to the display panel. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal (LC) layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first alignment-inducing layer disposed between the first substrate and the LC layer, a second alignment-inducing layer disposed between the second substrate and the LC layer, a color conversion layer disposed on the LC layer. The second substrate is disposed more adjacent to the light source than the first substrate. The LC layer includes LC molecules. The first alignment-inducing layer includes a polymerized first reactive mesogen.
