The mobile terminal obtains the location information from the message. Position coordinates corresponding to the location information are set as position coordinates of a destination related to a route.

First location information is identified in the received message. Based at least on identifying the first location information in the received message, the first location information is obtained from the received message for setting a destination location. Second location information of the first electronic device is obtained. Based at least on the obtained first location information from the received message and the obtained second location information of the first electronic device, a start location and the destination location are set. Based at least on obtaining route information between the start location and the destination location, a route representing the obtained route information between the start location and the destination location is displayed on a display of the first electronic device.

Based on analyzing the received message, first location information including address information inputted from a user of the second electronic device is identified in the received message. The first location information is obtained from the received message. Second location information of the first electronic device is obtained. A start location is set to the obtained second location information and the destination location is set to the selected address information.
