Abstract: An electronic device is provided and includes a communication module, a sensor module, a memory, and a processor configured for acquiring first movement information regarding a first region of a route on which the electronic device moves by using the communication module, if the first movement information satisfies a first condition for route information of the movement route information, deactivating the communication module, and acquiring second movement information regarding a second region of the route by using the sensor module, and if the first movement information satisfies a second condition for the route information of the movement route information, acquiring the second movement information by using the communication module, and providing current movement route information of the electronic device by using the second movement information.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, provided is a wireless power transmission device comprising a plurality of power transmission antennas, a geomagnetic sensor, a processor, and a communications circuit, wherein the processor is configured to: set a coordinate system on the basis of geomagnetic sensing information from the geomagnetic sensor; control such that, for charging an electronic device, a first RF wave is formed under a first transmission condition through the plurality of power transmission antennas; receive, from the electronic device and through the communications circuit, first information on a change in the position or location, or both, of the electronic device; at least on the basis of the first information, confirm the position or location, or both, of the electronic device in the coordinate system after the change of the electronic device; and control such that a second RF wave is formed under a second transmission condition through the plurality of power transmission antennas, wherein the second transmission condition is confirmed on the basis of the location or position, or both, of the electronic device after the change. Other various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device includes at least one sensor, a reception module and a route information providing module, which executes the method, including determining, by the reception module, a present location as a first location in response to detecting occurrence of a first predetermined event, acquiring movement information by the at least one sensor when the electronic device moves from the first location, after moving from the first location, determining, by the reception module, a new present location as a second location in response to occurrence of a second predetermined event, the determination of the new present location including acquiring geographical location information corresponding to the second location, and generating route information corresponding to at least one interval between the first location and the second location based on at least a part of the acquired movement information and at least a part of the geographical location information.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device for controlling communications. The electronic device may comprise: a housing including a first side and a second side facing the first side; a touch screen display exposed through the first side; a wireless communication unit for generating a directional beam in order to establish a wireless communication channel with an external electronic device; a sensor mounted in the housing; at least one processor mounted in the housing and electrically coupled to the display, the wireless communication unit and the sensor; and a memory mounted in the housing and electrically coupled to the at least one processor. The memory according to the various embodiments of the present invention is, when executed, characterized in that the processor is configured to: perform a first direction search for determining the direction of the directional beam corresponding to a first section, wherein the first section falls within a range corresponding to the direction of the electronic device; detect a change in direction of the electronic device by using the wireless communication unit and the sensor; and in response to the change of direction, perform, at least partially, a second direction search corresponding to a second section on the basis of the detected direction change, wherein the second section falls within a range corresponding to the changed direction of the electronic device, and the second section has a smaller range than that of the first section. Other embodiments are possible.
