Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure proposes a PTRS operation and indication method for phase noise compensation in a wireless communication system. Specifically, disclosed is a method for configuring and indicating a suitable PTRS for a signal transmission environment through information exchange between a base station and a terminal having different oscillator characteristics.

The packet transmission method for use in a wireless communication system based on Filter Bank-based Multi-Carrier (FBMC) includes generating an Offset Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (OQAM) symbol by extracting a transmission data period from data blocks obtained by repeating a transmission data as many times as an overlapping factor, performing Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) on the OQAM symbol, shifting, when the overlapping factor is an even number, the IFFT-ed symbol cyclically, filtering the cyclically shifted symbol with a shortened compensation filter, and transmitting the filtered symbol in an overlapped OQAM signal.

A terminal includes a processor configured to receive configuration information regarding a RACH from a base station, and transmit a RACH preamble according to the configuration information, wherein the configuration information includes information indicating the number of RACH transmission occasions in a frequency axis.

Accordingly, the present invention relates to a transmission method in a filter bank-based multicarrier (FBMC) communication system, and an apparatus therefor, the method comprising the steps of: spreading each of two QAM signals divided into a plurality of groups to a plurality of signals on a frequency axis; intersecting at least one signal, which is overlapped with a spread signal of an adjacent QAM signal among the plurality of spread signals, with the spread signal of the adjacent QAM signal; filtering, by each of the plurality of groups, the plurality of spread signals of which at least one signal has been intersected; and transmitting the plurality of filtered spread signals by being overlapped on a time axis.

The method comprises receiving, from a base station, association information between at least one phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port and at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port, identifying phase noise between the UE and the base station based on the association information, and compensating for the phase noise based on the result of the identification.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a transceiving method and apparatus that enable QAM signal transmission in a filter bank multi-carrier (FBMC) communication system and provides, in particular, a transceiving method and apparatus that enable quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signal transmission without intrinsic interference by separating filtering between a sub-carrier having an even index and a sub-carrier having an odd index, and superimposing and transmitting sub-carriers filtered by means of separation. The thus-rendered present invention is a transmission method in the FBMC communication system, the method comprising the steps of: dividing at least two QAM signals into a plurality of groups; performing filtering on each of the plurality of groups; and superimposing and transmitting the QAM signal in the plurality of groups filtered on a time axis. The present invention relates to a transmission method and apparatus, and a corresponding reception method and apparatus.
