An embodiment of the present invention provides a method of a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a master information block (MIB) including initial downlink bandwidth part (BWP) configuration information; and transmitting, to the UE, Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI) including initial uplink bandwidth part (BWP) configuration information, wherein the RMSI is transmitted based on the initial downlink bandwidth part (BWP) configuration information.

摘要: A communication method and system for converging a fifth generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a fourth generation (4G) system with a technology for internet of things (IoT) includes intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology. A method by a terminal for transmitting uplink data in a wireless communication system comprises receiving downlink control information for scheduling of uplink transmission in a cell from a base station and transmitting the uplink data to the base station on the supplementary uplink if the indicator indicates the scheduling of the uplink transmission is associated with the supplementary uplink in the cell. The downlink control information includes an indicator indicating whether the scheduling of the uplink transmission is associated with a supplementary uplink in the cell.

The method comprises receiving, from a base station, association information between at least one phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port and at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port, identifying phase noise between the UE and the base station based on the association information, and compensating for the phase noise based on the result of the identification.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a pre-5th-generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). Provided are an apparatus and a method for determining a bandwidth in a wireless communication system. A method of operating a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system includes: receiving information on a bandwidth supporting capability of a terminal from the terminal; transmitting information on at least one candidate bandwidth corresponding to the bandwidth supporting capability to the terminal; and transmitting information indicating a utilization bandwidth of the terminal among the at least one candidate bandwidth to the terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce power consumption of the terminal and overhead for a bandwidth indication.
