The present invention relates to a method and a system for providing a sponsored service on an IMS-based mobile communication network, and comprises the steps of: a sponsored service client transmitting to a sponsored service server a sponsored service start request message; the sponsored service server determining the validity of the sponsored service after receiving the start request message; transmitting to the sponsored service client a sponsored service start acceptance message when the sponsored service server determines the sponsored service as valid; generating a sponsored service between the sponsored service client and an Internet service provider server; the sponsored service server generating charged fee information and transmitting the charged fee information to an authentication/authorization/accounting (AAA) server, when the sponsored service client requests termination of the sponsored service; and terminating the sponsored service session. According to the present invention, the sponsored service, in which a third parry Internet service provider can pay the cost using the mobile communication network instead of a wireless user equipment subscriber, can be provided, and the quality of the service can be dynamically controlled from the point the Internet service is provided.

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for an Internet service provider server providing a sponsored service, in which a service provider server pays a mobile communication usage fee in place of a user equipment, and the method for providing the sponsored service comprises: a connection step of selecting predetermined sponsored content so as to provide the sponsored service by means of the user equipment accessing the Internet service provider server; an authentication step of authenticating to the user equipment that the sponsor service is valid by a sponsorship manager, which is a device for managing the sponsor service, connecting with the user equipment on the mobile communication network; a step for the Internet transmitting to the user equipment the sponsored content that comprises in an IP packet either an IspCode, which is pre-allocated by the sponsorship manager for identifying the Internet provider server, or an IspTrfCode, which is pre-allocated by the sponsorship manager for identifying the sponsored service; and a ending step of ending the connection between the user equipment and the sponsorship manager, and the user equipment and the sponsorship manager collecting traffic information with regard to the sponsored service.

According to an embodiment, a web server connecting method of a terminal includes receiving an HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) request for at least one domain, determining whether the domain supports an HTTP proxy service, and if the domain supports the HTTP proxy service, transmitting the HTTP request to an HTTP proxy through a pre-established HTTP proxy connection. In another embodiment, the terminal using the method is provided. In other embodiments, the HTTP proxy for offering the HTTP proxy service to the terminal and a web server connecting method of the HTTP proxy are provided.
Abstract:
A method for creating a unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection for a packet data network is provided. The method includes generating an extended master session key to create a mobile internet protocol root key. The method also includes creating a mobile internet protocol security parameter index based on the mobile internet protocol root key and an access point name. The method further includes deriving a mobile node home agent key based on the access point name. Furthermore the method includes associating the derived mobile node home agent key to the created security parameter index. Moreover the method includes providing the unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection to transfer data for the packet data network connectivity.

The present invention relates to a method, packet data network gateway (PGW), and server in a mobile communication system and device for controlling charging in a mobile communication system. The method by a PGW in a mobile communication system includes identifying data usage information associated with a specific service for a terminal, determining whether the data usage information satisfies a predetermined condition, and transmitting a notification message including the data usage information if the data usage information satisfies the predetermined condition, to a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) entity. The data usage information is used to display a message in the terminal.

The present invention has the aim of providing a method of an activity information notification service in which a server can receive activity information from a user of a target terminal, depending on his or her privacy setting, and then transmit the received activity information to a selected receiving user, and in which any receiving user can transmit a notification request to a target user in order to receive desired activity information. The present invention relates to a method and terminal in a mobile communication system. The method includes transmitting a sponsor service request to a first server of a service provider, receiving a sponsor coupon from the first server, transmitting the received sponsor coupon to an entity of an operator, receiving a sponsor coupon validation result message from the entity, and transmitting a request for a sponsor service to a second server of the service provider. The sponsor coupon is used for the operator to charge the service provider for the sponsor service.
