Abstract:
A method of displaying a schedule on a wearable additional device is provided. The method includes connecting a portable electronic device which can synchronize a schedule, receiving a user input for displaying the schedule on a display screen of the wearable additional device, and displaying the schedule received from the portable electronic device on the display screen of the wearable additional device in response to the user input, wherein the schedule is displayed in a form of sector areas corresponding to a plurality of schedule items, and each of the sector areas has an area proportional to a time of a corresponding schedule item from among a total time of schedule data which can be displayed on the display screen of the wearable additional device.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses for providing a haptic effect in an electronic device are described. When a user contacts a haptic providing region on a display screen, a haptic effect corresponding to the haptic providing region is generated in response to the detected user input/contact. The haptic effect may include the transformation of at least a portion of the haptic providing region of the display screen.
Abstract:
Provided are a portable terminal that generates a haptic pattern and a method thereof. The method includes displaying a menu on a touch screen, receiving an input for generating a haptic pattern through the displayed menu, detecting, using a sensor module, a haptic input provided through the portable terminal, and generating the haptic pattern based on the provided haptic input.
Abstract:
Methods and an electronic device for providing visual and haptic feedback are provided. At least one first touch made to an object displayed on a touch screen is detected. The object is transformed and displayed in response to movement of the first touch. At least one second touch made to the displayed object is detected. Visual feedback is displayed on the touch screen in response to the second touch, and haptic feedback corresponding to a predetermined haptic pattern is output using a vibration motor.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method are provided for controlling haptic feedback of an input tool for a mobile terminal. The method includes detecting, by the mobile terminal, a hovering of the input tool over an object displayed on a touch screen display of the mobile terminal; identifying a property of the object; and transmitting, to the input tool, a control signal for haptic feedback corresponding to the property of the object.
Abstract:
A portable terminal and a method for providing a haptic effect in the portable terminal are provided. The method includes displaying an application on a touch screen, detecting a touch in a haptic providing region set by a user, and providing a haptic effect corresponding to the haptic providing region in response to the detected touch.
Abstract:
A method of changing screens in an apparatus including multiple touch screens and an apparatus are provided. The method includes displaying a first screen in a first touch screen; displaying a second screen in a second touch screen; detecting multiple touches in the first touch screen; detecting continuous movements of the multiple touches from the first touch screen to the second touch screen; and changing the second screen of the second touch screen in response to the continuous movements of the multiple touches.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for providing feedback in a portable apparatus are provided. An object is displayed on a touch screen of the portable apparatus. A first touch, from an input unit, is detected at a position on the touch screen corresponding to the displayed object. The object is selected in response to the first touch. A copy command by which the selected object is copied to a copy target is received from the input unit. A first control command corresponding to haptic feedback determined in response to the received copy command is transmitted from the portable apparatus to the input unit.
Abstract:
A controlling a portable device comprising a first touch screen and a second touch screen is provided. The method includes displaying first information related to a first application on the first touch screen and displaying second information related to the first application on the second touch screen; receiving a first user input moving to the first touch screen on the second touch screen; and replacing the first information and the second information with a third information and a fourth information related to the first application on the first touch screen and the second touch screen, in response to receiving the first user input, wherein each of the third information and the fourth information is displayed while being slidden in direction from the second touch screen to the first touch screen and the third information is displayed over a boundary between the first touch screen and the second screen during the sliding of the third information and the fourth information.
