Abstract: An electronic device and an operating method thereof are disclosed according to embodiments. An electronic device according to an embodiment includes: a camera; a display; a communication interface; a memory for storing one or more instructions; and a processor that executes the one or more instructions stored in the memory, the processor being configured to: generate an event instructing to display one or more markers on a screen of a display device and transmit the event to the display device; control the camera to capture an image of at least a portion of a wall around the display device using the one or more markers displayed on the screen of the display device according to the generated event; generate a background image to be displayed on the screen of the display device based on the obtained image; and transmit the generated background image to the display device such that the generated background image is displayed on the screen of the display device.

The rule-based model or the artificial intelligence data recognition model may estimate whether to replace the display module by using, as input values, the first data generated by the first display module and the second data generated by the second display module.
