Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include a first structure including a first plate including a first surface and a second surface facing away from the first surface, and at least one side surface, a second structure including a second plate facing the second surface of the first plate; a first side wall extended to the second plate; a second side wall extending to the first side wall and the second plate and facing the side surface; and a third side wall extending to the first side wall and the second plate, parallel to the second side wall and facing the side surface, wherein the second plate, the first side wall, and the second side wall and the third side wall together form a trough with one side opened to receive at least part of the first structure, the first structure is movable between an open state and a closed state with respect to the second structure in a first direction parallel to the second plate and the second side wall, and the first structure is placed at a first distance from the first side wall in the closed state, and placed at a second distance which is greater than the first distance from the first side wall in the open state, at least one mechanical button mounted on the second side wall, and moving toward the first structure from outside of the second structure, and a sensing circuit disposed between the side wall and the second side wall with at least partial area, and configured to detect the movement of the mechanical button. Besides, various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a display driving integrated circuit (DDIC) operably coupled to a display panel; and a touch sensor controller operably coupled to the display driving integrated circuit and operably coupled to a touch panel, wherein the display driving integrated circuit may be configured to: multiple-transmit a synchronization signal for synchronizing an operation of the display driving integrated circuit with an operation of the touch sensor controller to the touch sensor controller within one frame on the basis of a first transmission mode when the display panel is controlled on the basis of a first frame rate; and multiple-transmit the synchronization signal to the touch sensor controller within the frame on the basis of a second transmission mode when the display panel is controlled on the basis of a second frame rate. Here, time intervals between the multiple transmissions on the basis of the first transmission mode may be the same, and among time intervals between the multiple transmissions on the basis of the second transmission mode, a first time interval between a first transmission and a second transmission subsequent to the first transmission may be different from the other time intervals, except the first time interval, among the multiple transmissions on the basis of the second transmission mode.

The electronic device includes a touch sensor, a touch sensor integrated circuit (IC) configured to identify an input position on the touch sensor, a display, and a display driving IC configured to provide, to the display, at least one driving signal for driving the display, wherein the touch sensor IC is configured to measure, based on a first schedule, the input position on the touch sensor while a first driving signal among the at least one driving signal is provided from the display driving IC in a first interval, the first schedule being configured such that the at least one driving signal does not overlap a time period of the measurement of the input position, detect, based on a change of an interval of the first driving signal from the first interval to a second interval, an event in which a time period of the first driving signal being provided at least partially overlaps the time period of the measurement of the input position, and measure the input position, based on a second schedule which is different from the first schedule.

The memory may store instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to, identify a first touch input in a first region on the cover window, corresponding to the display, by using the touch signal generated by the touch sensor, identify a first proximity input in a second region on the cover window, surrounding the display, by using the proximity signal generated by the touch sensor, determine whether a designated input determination condition is satisfied, based on the first touch input and the first proximity input, select one of the touch input in the first region corresponding to the display or the first proximity input in the second region surrounding the display, based on whether the designated input determination condition has been satisfied, and perform a function corresponding to the selected input.
