摘要： Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device includes a battery, a charging part configured to be connectable to an external charging device to charge the battery, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the charging part and the memory. The processor may determine whether the charging part is connected to the external charging device, determine whether the electronic device moves and/or electronic device usage time information of a user, and reduce a voltage at which the battery enters supplementary charging to a second voltage lower than a first voltage which corresponds to a value stored in the memory, based on whether the electronic device moves and/or the electronic device usage time information. In addition, it is possible to implement various other embodiments understood through the disclosure.

The battery may include multiple first electrodes including first tabs configured to protrude toward a first direction, multiple second electrodes including second tabs configured to protrude toward the first direction, and a separator configured to restrict contact between the multiple first electrodes and the multiple second electrodes. The separator may include a first separator configured to be folded in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction or a fourth direction opposite to the second direction, the first separator including multiple through-holes configured to accommodate the first tabs and the second tabs, and a second separator configured to be folded in the first direction or a third direction opposite to the first direction, the second separator being alternately stacked with the first separator. In addition, various embodiments may be possible.

According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may include: a housing, a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed inside the housing, and a battery disposed inside the housing and configured to supply power to the electronic device. The battery may include: an electrode assembly including a plurality of substrates having a surface coated with a mixture layer, the plurality of substrates being stacked and insulated through a separator and including a pouch in which the electrode assembly is disposed, a protective frame disposed in the pouch and configured to protect the electrode assembly from an external impact, and a protection circuit module (PCM) comprising circuitry connected to the battery cell and electrically connected to the PCB. The protective frame may include: a central portion disposed to cross an inside of the electrode assembly in a direction perpendicular to a stacking direction of the substrates, and at least one cover connected to at least one end of the central portion and extending in a direction parallel to the stacking direction to surround at least a portion of an outer surface of the electrode assembly.
