摘要: A separator for a lead acid battery is a porous membrane having a positive electrode face and a negative electrode face. A plurality of longitudinally extending ribs, a plurality of protrusions or a nonwoven material may be disposed upon the positive electrode face. A plurality of transversely extending ribs are disposed upon the negative electrode face. The transverse ribs disposed upon the negative electrode face are preferably juxtaposed to a negative electrode of the lead acid battery, when the separator is placed within that battery.

摘要: A stacked secondary battery having an electrode body in which at least one positive and at least one negative plate are stacked, with a multilayered separator interposed, said separator including two porous layers of different materials; and an outer packaging case housing an insulating holder and an electrolyte together, said insulating holder housing the electrode body and being formed of overlapping sheets comprises an insulating material. The outer packaging case has a bottom surface, a plurality of side walls that are provided standing upright from the bottom surface, and an opening that is opposite from the bottom surface. In at least one separator, a section that is exposed from end surfaces of active material mixture layers and metal foil-comprising core bodies of the positive plate and the negative plate is in contact with the vicinity of a bottom line of a valley section that is formed from the sheet.

摘要: Disclosed are an electrolyte membrane for a lithium-air battery, a method of manufacturing the same, a cathode for a lithium-air battery, a method of manufacturing the same, and a lithium-air battery including the electrolyte membrane and the cathode. Particularly, the lithium-air battery includes i) an electrolyte membrane, which is manufactured using an inorganic melt admixture including two or more nitrogen-oxide compounds and thus may have a very low eutectic point, and ii) a cathode, which is manufactured by reducing a metal at a fast speed on a carbon material. As such, the lithium-air battery is capable of stably operating even at low temperatures and providing high power output.

摘要: Some examples include a lithium-ion battery including an electrode assembly, a battery case, and an insulator. The electrode assembly includes a plurality of stacked electrodes. The battery case includes a cover and a housing. The housing includes a bottom, a perimeter side, and an open top. The cover is configured to extend across the open top. The cover and the housing form an interior enclosure to house the electrode assemble with the cover and the housing sealingly coupled at the lip. The insulator includes a body and a profiled portion. The body being generally planar and the profiled portion extending from the body at an angle. The body is disposed between the electrode assembly and the cover of the battery case. The profiled portion extends between the electrode assembly and the lip of the housing. The insulator is to provide a barrier between the electrode assembly and the sealed lip.

The first electrode sheet and second electrode sheet are of opposite polarities, the first separator is configured to separate the first electrode sheet and the second electrode sheet. The first electrode sheet, the second electrode sheet, and the first separator are wound in a winding direction. The electrode assembly has a bending region. The bending region is provided with a second separator that is laminated with the first separator and configured to separate the first electrode sheet and the second electrode sheet adjacent to each other. At least part of ions deintercalated from the first electrode sheet are able to pass through the first separator and the second separator and be intercalated in the second electrode sheet.
