To this end, the present disclosure provides a method for controlling image shooting and image outputting in an electronic device. The method includes: determining whether the electronic device is in an image shooting or image outputting; and controlling a function associated with the determined image shooting or image outputting to be performed through a single lens contained in the electronic device.
