Abstract:
A portable projector includes a projector module for projecting image data, an infrared ray output unit which outputs an infrared ray to a projected image data area, a camera unit which photographs the projected image data area, a coordinate value calculator which calculates a coordinate value corresponding to each coordinate value of the photographed projected image data area, and a controller which determines whether there is a pen or a finger input in the projected image data area according to the calculated coordinate value and performing a control for updating the image data by using an input coordinate value corresponding to the input when there is input by the one of the pen and the finger.
Abstract:
A method of calculating depth information for a three-dimensional (3D) image includes generating a pattern based on the value of at least one cell included in a two-dimensional (2D) image, projecting the pattern, capturing a reflected image of the pattern, and calculating depth information based on the reflected image of the pattern.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for controlling an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a holder positioned in a first surface of the housing to mount an external electronic device thereon, a beam projector positioned in a second surface of the housing, a mirror positioned between the first surface and the second surface to reflect a content outputted from the beam projector, an input unit provided in the housing, a transceiver communicable with the external electronic device, and a processor. The processor is configured to control for receiving the content from the external electronic device, outputting the content using the beam projector, and adjusting a direction in which the mirror is positioned according to a rotation control signal on the mirror received from the external electronic device through the transceiver or received through the input unit to adjust a direction in which the content is reflected.
Abstract:
A projector for correcting a projected image includes an image input unit for outputting a source image; a correction parameter input unit for receiving at least one correction parameter for the source image; an image correction unit for texture-mapping the source image to a virtual 3-Dimensional (3D) object corresponding to a surface onto which a corrected image is to be displayed in order for the source image from the image input unit may be projected onto the 3D object, and then generating the corrected image obtained by applying the at least one correction parameter to the 3D object; and a projection unit for projecting the corrected image from the image correction unit onto the surface.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for displaying a 3D are provided that inlucde a display unit formed of a transparent material for displaying a 2D image. An input image that includes 3D display information is received. The 3D display information is transformed into at least one piece of 2D display information by analyzing the input image. At least one 2D subframe image is displayed based on the 2D display information while the display unit is rotating.
Abstract:
When a three-dimensional image of a specific subject is acquired by means of an infrared camera and an external light (for example, external light such as sunlight at the time of outdoor photography) having a relatively large intensity exists, it is difficult to acquire the image. To this end, the present invention proposes an electronic device for reducing a current peak by adaptively changing optical power and an exposure time of an infrared camera according to the intensity of external light.
Abstract:
An illumination optical system for a beam projector includes: a light source; a color conversion unit having at least one fluorescent substance layer that reflects a light from the light source or converts the light emitted from the light source to a wavelength-converted light; and a dichroic mirror that causes the light emitted from the light source to be incident on the color conversion unit. Lights reflected or emitted by the conversion unit and having different wavelengths are incident on a display panel through the same path. In the illumination optical system, a light emitted from one light source can be processed to produce red, green and blue lights which can be in turn incident on the display panel through the same optical path of the light reflected or emitted by the conversion unit.
