The apparatus includes a plurality of mappers for mapping a sequence, corresponding to an index to be fed back, to a first set of resource blocks in a fast feedback channel by using a first mapping pattern and to a second set of resource blocks in the fast feedback channel by using a second mapping pattern, and a transmitter for transmitting the sequence mapped to a plurality of sets of resource blocks, wherein the sequence is mapped to each of the plurality of sets of resource blocks, and wherein each element of the sequence is mapped to each resource block.
