摘要:
A method for designating a dual region according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: enabling a terminal which is in communication with a first network to calculate a channel state threshold value corresponding to data; comparing the channel state value of the first network and the channel state value of the second network, acquired using a pilot signal of a second network, with the channel state threshold value; calculating a network evaluation score of the first network; comparing the network evaluation score of the first network with a network evaluation threshold value for designating a dual region, if the channel state value of the first network and the channel state value of the second network are larger than the channel state threshold value; and determining whether to designate a dual region in accordance with the result of the comparison using the network evaluation threshold value. The method of the present invention can reduce service cutoff or delay time during inter-radio access.

The present invention relates to a method in which an upper layer entity allocates resources to a plurality of access points (APs) in a wireless access system, including the plurality of APs and the upper layer entity for managing the plurality of APs, the method comprising the step of: sensing a change in minimum guaranteed resource amount allocated to each of the APs; acquiring, from each of the APs, AP-level topology information according to a degree of interference with adjacent APs and AP weight information given to each AP by a service provider; determining a minimum guaranteed resource amount for each of the APs based on the acquired AP-level topology information and AP weight information; and transmitting the determined minimum guaranteed resource amount to each of the APs.

A method for allocating resource regions in a wireless access system is provided. This method collectively allocates resources in non-consecutive frames. Specifically, a message, including allocation information used to collectively and non-consecutively allocate identical resource regions, is received from a base station and data is transmitted or received through the allocated resource regions. Since identical resource regions are collectively allocated in multiple frames, it is possible to reduce both the number of transmissions of a MAP message and MAP overhead in a network.

A method for a Base station (BS) to allocate resources to terminals in a broadband wireless access system, a method for transmitting signals of a terminal, and a method for constructing an uplink MAP for the same are provided. Start position information of each allocated region may be included in uplink resource allocation information or information indicating the position of a region dedicated to VoIP traffic may be included in an uplink MAP. The uplink MAP may include separate resource allocation information for VoIP services. Through this resource allocation, the terminal can efficiently transmit uplink signals (specifically, VoIP signals).

The present invention relates to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), and to a communication method using same, that support MS-based social communication services or activities. The communication method for the WTRU according to one embodiment disclosed in the present description is characterized by comprising the steps of: generating a first service or activity; transmitting, to a second WTRU, a beacon signal including information on the properties of a radio resource corresponding to the first service or activity; receiving, from the second WTRU, an adjustment request for the first service or activity; adjusting the properties of a radio resource corresponding to the first service or activity in response to the request; and transmitting, to the second external WTRU, an adjustment response on the first service or activity including the result of the adjustment.

A method of switching a radio resource mode allocated to a mobile station in a wireless access system is discussed. The method for switching the radio-resource mode allocated to a mobile station in the wireless access system includes, transmitting a first message comprising Carrier to Interference and Noise Ratio (CINR) information of a second radio-resource mode to a base station for requesting a switching from a first radio-resource mode allocated to the mobile station to the second radio-resource mode; and transmitting a predetermined codeword for indicating that the switching from the first radio-resource mode to the second radio-resource mode has not been normally performed, if a second message approving the switching of the radio-resource mode is not received within a predetermined time.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for searching for an access point in a terminal supporting a multiple wireless access scheme is provided. The method may comprise the steps of; receiving, from a base station using a first wireless access scheme, information relating to an access point using a second wireless access scheme; determining whether one or more access points exist using the second wireless access scheme in the cell coverage of the base station on the basis of the information: searching for an access point accessible for a period that is shorter than a normal period when determining that the access point using the second wireless access scheme exists; and accessing the found access point using the second wireless access scheme.
