    摘要: A common use pedal device for automotive vehicles comprises a base plate and a pedal pivotably attached to the base plate and having a push rod extending downwards from an underneath surface of the pedal. A rotating member is mounted to the base plate in such a manner that the rotating member can be depressed and rotated by the push rod of the pedal, the rotating member having a pulling arm adapted to pull a manual operating cable in response to rotation of the rotating member. A rotation detecting sensor is provided on one side of the base plate for detecting the degree of rotation of the rotating member and then notifying an electronic control unit of the degree of rotation thus detected. This pedal device can be employed in common in a manually controlled pedal type vehicle and an electronically controlled pedal type vehicle.

    摘要: Tunable radio frequency (RF) devices, such as phase shifters and filters, are formed by depositing thin film layers on a substrate and patterning the thin film layers by various lithography techniques. A thin film metal layer is patterned to form a plurality of capacitors and inductors, leaving at least two grounding regions that lie closely adjacent the capacitors and inductors. As patterned portions of the grounding regions are electrically isolated from each other. Performance of the devices are improved by electrically bridging the differential potential grounding regions.

    摘要: Provided are an enhanced structure of a coplanar waveguide that is a kind of transmission line used for optical communication for radio frequency (RF), and an optical communication module employing the same. While having a basic structure including a conductive strip and ground strips at both sides of the conductive strip on a dielectric substrate, the coplanar waveguide has the structure in which metal patterns of a portion of the conductive strip located around points where an RF propagation direction is changed and of a portion of an inside ground strip are removed to make electrical lengths of an outside ground strip and the inside ground strip similar each other. Using the coplanar waveguide, it is possible to fabricate an optical module that has an optimized RF characteristic and also can freely change an RF propagation direction of several tens GHz, without an additional process.

    摘要: Provided is an optical module used in a communication system employing a radio over fiber (ROF) technology delivering a radio frequency (RF) signal through an optical fiber. The optical module includes: an optical device; a signal line for transporting a radio frequency (RF) signal input from an external circuit to the optical device; and a resistor separately disposed from the signal line and having one end connected with the optical device, wherein the input impedance seen from the signal line is matched by the resistor. A bias voltage supplied to operate the optical device is applied through an inductor connected to the signal line between the optical device and a filter. Here, the filter formed by a pattern of the signal line prevents the bias voltage from being supplied to the external circuit. In order to amplify the RF signal input from the external circuit, an amplifier may be connected between the external circuit and the filter.

    摘要: A wireless communication terminal with an opening/closing function using a plurality of magnetic pole sensors and method therefor is provided. The invention activates or inactivates a display unit via a switch by sensing an opening/closing of a sub-body using the magnetic pole sensors, to thereby prevent a malfunctioning due to a magnetic pole caused by an external magnetic pole generator. The device includes a receptacle base having a bottom wall and a continuous side wall that can be somewhat squared in shape. The receptacle base could be cylindrically shaped, oval shaped, or any other selected shape in plan view. A lid removably attaches to the side wall at the wall upper edge, the lid including a lid front section and a lid rear section. A hinge enables the front lid section to rotate about a hinge axis of rotation between closed an open positions. Each lid section has a raised portion that includes a plurality of inclined surfaces that define frictionally engaging correspondingly shaped socket and projecting portions that interlock when the front lid section is opened. An interference fit or frictional fit generated by the engaged socket and projecting portions holds the front lid section in the open position.
