The filter that is attached to a front surface of the plasma display panel that includes a first and second substrates facing each other and a barrier rib structure that is disposed between the first and second substrates and comprises a plurality of first barrier ribs and second barrier ribs that define a plurality of discharge cells by crossing each other.
