摘要： A washing machine including a drying apparatus. The washing machine including the drying apparatus quickly dries wet laundry by efficiently condensing and adsorbing vapor from humid air of high temperature flowing from a water tub during a drying-mode operation. The drying apparatus includes a condensing duct and a blower duct respectively mounted on a rear surface and an upper surface of the water tub. The condensing duct has an ultrasonic atomizing unit, a condensing unit and a water adsorption unit therein, while the blower duct has a blower fan and a heater therein. An inner space of the condensing duct is partitioned into a first condensing path, a second condensing path and a third condensing path by a first air guide and a second air guide. The ultrasonic atomizing unit, the condensing unit and the water adsorption unit are installed in the first condensing path, the second condensing path and the third condensing path of the condensing duct, respectively, thus condensing and adsorbing vapor from the humid air which sequentially passes through the first to third condensing paths, thereby dehumidifying the air providing dry air which is fed to the water tub to dry the wet laundry.

摘要： A clothes dryer and a method of controlling the clothes dryer. The method detects conditions of clothes using a sensor, and performs at least one of: a complex drying function to perform a drying operation, a deodorizing operation, and a wrinkle removing operation; a wrinkle removing function to perform the wrinkle removing operation and the drying operation; and a drying function to perform the drying operation, according to the detected conditions of the clothes. Accordingly, the clothes dryer is capable of not only drying the clothes, but also deodorizing the clothes and removing wrinkles. Additionally, the clothes dryer is capable of detecting conditions of clothes accommodated in a chamber, and drying and deodorizing the clothes as occasion demands, thus maintaining the clothes for a long period.

摘要： A drum washing machine that uses less wash water, reduces an amount of electricity required to heat the wash water, and reduces washing time. The drum washing machine includes a water tub to contain water therein; a rotary drum provided in the water tub so that a rotating axis of the rotary drum is inclined relative to a horizontal axis at a predetermined first angle of inclination to allow an inlet opening of the rotary drum to be directed upward and forward, with a drain hole provided on the rotary drum at a position adjacent to the inlet opening, and an internal surface of the rotary drum being inclined relative to the rotating axis of the rotary drum at a predetermined second angle of inclination so as to guide the water to the drain hole, prior to discharging the water from the rotary drum to an outside of the rotary drum through the drain hole; a drive unit to drive the rotary drum; and a water circulation unit to feed the water from the water tub into the rotary drum.

The drum washing machine includes a water tub to contain wash water, a rotary drum coaxially located in the water tub to partially surround the wash water contained in the water tub, a water supplier to supply the wash water into the water tub and to supply the wash water into the rotary drum directly, and a controller to control the water supplier to supply the wash water into the water tub and the rotary drum, respectively, while washing laundry, which has been placed in the rotary drum, a water tub to contain wash water, a rotary drum coaxially located in the water tub to partially surround the wash water contained in the water tub, a water supplier to supply the wash water into the water tub and to supply the wash water into the rotary drum directly, and a controller to control the water supplier to supply the wash water into the water tub and the rotary drum, respectively, while washing laundry, which has been placed in the rotary drum.

摘要： A washing machine having a wobbling device. The wobbling device causes a wobbling action of a washboard without rotating the washboard during a washing mode operation, thus effectively washing the clothes. This wobbling device includes a vertical rotary shaft rotated by a washing shaft, and an inclined rotary shaft arranged above the vertical rotary shaft. A first rotary unit couples the inclined rotary shaft to the vertical rotary shaft, thus rotating the two shafts at the same time. An upper surface of the first rotary unit forms a first sloping surface inclined at an angle of inclination. A second rotary unit rotatably receives the inclined rotary shaft therein, and is provided at its lower surface with a second sloping surface corresponding to the first sloping surface of the first rotary unit. A plurality of pins control the relative positions of the first and second sloping surfaces, thus changing the position of the upper surface of the second rotary unit between a horizontal position and an inclined position. A washboard is arranged outside the second rotary unit, and is changed between a wobbling position and a leveled position in accordance with an operation of the pins.
