摘要: A washing machine having a wobbling device. The wobbling device causes a wobbling action of a washboard without rotating the washboard during a washing mode operation, thus effectively washing the clothes. This wobbling device includes a vertical rotary shaft rotated by a washing shaft, and an inclined rotary shaft arranged above the vertical rotary shaft. A first rotary unit couples the inclined rotary shaft to the vertical rotary shaft, thus rotating the two shafts at the same time. An upper surface of the first rotary unit forms a first sloping surface inclined at an angle of inclination. A second rotary unit rotatably receives the inclined rotary shaft therein, and is provided at its lower surface with a second sloping surface corresponding to the first sloping surface of the first rotary unit. A plurality of pins control the relative positions of the first and second sloping surfaces, thus changing the position of the upper surface of the second rotary unit between a horizontal position and an inclined position. A washboard is arranged outside the second rotary unit, and is changed between a wobbling position and a leveled position in accordance with an operation of the pins.

摘要: A washing machine includes a wobbling device having a rotary blade. The wobbling device causes a wobbling action of a washboard without rotating the washboard during a washing mode operation, and rotates the rotary blade in one direction to allow a sufficient amount of wash water to flow upward through an ascending water current guide and fall from an upper portion of a spin-drying tub onto clothes contained in the spin-drying tub, thus effectively washing the clothes. The washboard is installed at a lower portion in the spin-drying tub such that it wobbles upward and downward. The rotary blade is installed under the washboard, and is rotated in one direction by torque of a washing shaft. The rotary blade is fitted over a boss which couples a vertical rotary shaft of the wobbling device to the washing shaft, and is rotated by the torque of the washing shaft. The water current guide extends along a sidewall of the spin-drying tub from a lower end to an upper end of the spin-drying tub. Water currents generated from the rotary blade are guided to the upper portion of the spin-drying tub and fall from the upper portion to the lower portion of the spin-drying tub.

摘要: A washing machine with a wobbling unit including a washing plate which wobbles in a vertical direction without rotating, thus washing laundry. The wobbling unit further includes a vertical rotating shaft rotating by a washing shaft and an inclined rotating shaft provided at a predetermined position above the vertical rotating shaft. A first rotary member allows the vertical rotating shaft to rotate along with the inclined rotating shaft. A second rotary member rotatably receives the inclined rotating shaft therein. The wobbling unit also includes a projecting pin, a wobbling pin, and a leveling pin to control positions of the first and second rotary members. A position of the washing plate is changed to a level position or a wobbling position by an operation of the pins. Further, a clutch is mounted to the second rotary member so that the position of the washing plate is securely changed to a desired position.

摘要: A grating assembly drive means is connected to control the movement of the movable grating between OPEN and CLOSED positions relative to a fixed grating. The drive means moves the movable grating through yieldable connection when moving toward CLOSED position, whereby when such movement is blocked by a foreign object the movable grating stops without damaging the object or the drive. On the other hand movement by the drive means toward OPEN position is direct after removal of any slack caused by a previous yielding.

摘要: Provided is a method for selectively functionalizing unmodified solid surface, not oxidized and nitrified, into an aldehyde group, and a method for immobilizing an active material such as bio material or functional material on the functionalized aldehyde solid surface through strong and stable chemical bonding. Differently from a conventional method immobilizing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) using a cross linker, the method of the present invention does not require a cross linker reaction step to thereby shorten a process. Also, since a cross linker is absent, the monomolecular layer on the surface of a device is thin, which reduces a perturbation effect by molecular layer. This is useful in fabrication of molecular electronic devices and bio-active devices. In addition, since the bio material or functional material is selectively immobilized only on the unmodified surface, the present invention can functionalize only a specific solid surface and develop a highly sensitive sensor and an improved functional device.

摘要: Disclosed is a boiler which is easily convertible from a normal type oil boiler to a condensing type oil boiler or vice versa thereby reducing manufacturing costs for the boiler. A size and a weight of the boiler are reduced by vertically installing a latent heat exchanger in an outer housing of the boiler together with a combustion chamber and a main heat exchanger. The boiler includes a combustion chamber, a heat exchange section, and an outer housing. Coupling holes are formed in the outer housing, a circulation chamber is formed at a lower portion of the outer housing, a burner is provided at an upper portion of the combustion chamber so as to generate heat in a downward direction thereof, the combustion chamber is vertically installed in one of the coupling holes, and a lower portion of the combustion chamber is communicated with the circulation chamber. The heat exchange section includes first and second heat exchangers and is vertically installed in the outer housing adjacent to the combustion chamber. An upper portion of the heat exchange section is coupled to one of the coupling holes and a lower portion of the heat exchange section is communicated with the circulation chamber. A funnel is provided at an upper portion of the outer housing so as to discharge an exhaust gas derived from combustion of the fuel in the combustion chamber, and a noise-absorbing container is provided at the upper portion of the outer housing so as to connect the funnel with the outer housing.
