摘要： A broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method are provided, for providing a time-shift function using an external storage medium. An amount of a previous broadcast corresponding to a predetermined period of time, which is required for providing the previous broadcast of a point in time previous to the current point in time, is selectively and temporarily stored in one of an internal storage medium and an external storage medium connected to an interface. Accordingly, the number of storages of the internal storage medium can be reduced, thereby increasing the lifespan of the internal storage medium.

摘要： A broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method in which a tuned broadcast and previous broadcasts of broadcast channels not tuned are provided on a single broadcast screen, are provided. The broadcast receiving apparatus stores separately, for each regular time interval, previous broadcasts provided on tunable broadcast channels, and combines a broadcast currently provided on a broadcast channel, selected by a user to be tuned, with at least one of the previously stored broadcasts to generate a single broadcast screen. Therefore, various broadcast screens may be simultaneously displayed on a single screen without increasing the number of tuners, and thus a user may view various broadcasts at the same time.

摘要： A semiconductor device having a metal interconnection structure, and a method of forming a corresponding semiconductor device having a metal interconnection. The semiconductor device includes an interlevel dielectric (ILD) film deposited over a semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate includes gate electrodes thereon separated from each other by an equal distance, and includes junction areas located between the gate electrodes, and is subjected to polishing. A portion of the ILD film aligned with a gate electrode is etched to a depth to form a trench. An anti-short insulating layer is deposited on the ILD film and in the trench. The anti-short insulating layer and the ILD film are etched to form a via hole so as to expose a junction area. The trench and the via hole are filled with metal, thereby resulting in a completed metal interconnection.
