摘要： A suture system configured to place suture in tissue includes a tool and a suture assembly. The tool includes a proximal portion, a distal end spaced apart from the proximal portion by a throat, and a needle that is movable through a needle exit port formed in the proximal portion of the tool to a cavity formed in the distal end of the tool. The suture assembly includes a leader that is insertable into the cavity. The leader has a distal end attached to a length of suture and a band having at least two prongs extending from a proximal edge of the band. The prongs are configured to engage with the needle to allow the needle to extract the leader from the cavity and deliver it to the needle exit port.

摘要： A vaginal manipulator includes a shaft, a handle connected to a first end of the shaft, and a head connected to a second end of the shaft. The head includes a rigid anterior surface that moves independently from a rigid posterior surface of the head. When the vaginal manipulator is inserted into a vagina, the rigid anterior surface is movable to displace an anterior wall of the vagina and the rigid posterior surface is movable to displace a posterior wall of the vagina. An index is provided on the head to locate a suture placement position a calculated distance away from a leading proximal end of the head.

摘要： A sacrocolpopexy support includes a body having a base and a leg extending from the base that is attachable to a cuff of a vagina, a first interconnecting member coupled to the base of the sacrocolpopexy support, and an adjustable anchor attachable to a ligament. The adjustable anchor is slidably coupled to the first interconnecting member to permit bi-directional movement along the first interconnecting member and is configured to exert a compressive force generating frictional interference with the first interconnecting member so as to inhibit the bi-directional movement of the adjustable anchor along the first interconnecting member until sufficient force is applied to overcome the frictional interference.
