摘要： A data management system is provided for managing data stored in a plurality of image forming apparatuses. In the data management system, a network communication section of a first complex machine requests a second complex machine to transmit attribute information indicative of data stored on a HDD of the second machine, and storage location information for specifying the second machine and for specifying a storage location of the data in the HDD. A network communication section of the second machine responds to the request by transmitting the attribute information and the storage location information thereof to the first machine. The network communication section of the first machine receives the information transmitted from the second machine. A table-data creation section of the first machine then creates table data for correlating information received by the network communication section thereof and stores the created table data on a HDD thereof.

摘要： A complex machine is provided with a HDD in which a data is to be stored, and a control unit for instructing the storage of a data in the HDD. If the data storage is instructed, the control unit confirms the free capacity of the HDD and those of HDDs of other complex machines connected on a network to compare the free capacities of the respective HDDs, and transmits the data to the other complex machine including the HDD judged to have a largest free capacity. Accordingly, there can be provided a data management system capable of equalizing data amounts saved in a plurality of image forming apparatuses on a network, and an image forming apparatus enabling such a data management system.

摘要： A data management system is provided for managing data stored in a plurality of image forming apparatuses. In the data management system, a network communication section of a first complex machine requests a second complex machine to transmit attribute information indicative of data stored on a HDD of the second machine, and storage location information for specifying the second machine and for specifying a storage location of the data in the HDD. 摘要： A magnetic head device according to the present invention comprises a head core formed of a magnetic material. The head core includes a sliding portion having a magnetic gap defined therein and adapted to be in sliding contact with a magnetic record medium, and a pair of leg portions formed integrally with the sliding portion. A coil is wound around one of the leg portions of the head core. The head core is held between a pair of holder shells, which each have one end coupled to the sliding portion of the head core and the other end extending toward the other ends of the two leg portions of the head core to be coupled thereto. At least one of the holder shells is formed integrally with a connecting portion which, formed of a magnetic material, constitutes part of the other end of the holder shell, so that the connecting portion and the head core define a closed magnetic path passing through the magnetic gap.

摘要： A Multi-Function peripheral (MFP), a server apparatus, and a client apparatus for generating image output data from document data and transmitting the image output data to the server apparatus are each connected to a network. In the server apparatus, an output data management unit stores the received image output data in an output data storage unit. Upon receiving user authentication information that is input with a user operation on the MFP, the server apparatus determines whether the user authentication information is valid. When the user authentication information is determined to be valid, the server apparatus transmits to the MFP one or more among the stored image output data associated with the user authentication information.
