    摘要： An insulator for a motor includes an annular section, a plurality of tooth sections and a plurality of connecting sections. The tooth sections extend radially inward of an inner circumferential surface of the annular section and are circumferentially arranged about the annular section. The connecting sections connect an inner circumferential surface of an annular section to ends of the tooth sections. Each connecting section includes a circumferential planar portion extending circumferentially from the end of a corresponding one of the tooth sections, and a radial planar portion extending radially from the end of the corresponding one of the tooth sections. Preferably, a stator includes a pair of the insulators, a motor includes the stator, and a compressor includes the motor.

The motor has a rotor and a stator disposed so as to surround an outer periphery of the rotor. The stator includes a stator core and oil passage grooves. The stator core has a hollow circular cylindrical section and a plurality of circumferentially arranged teeth protruding radially inward from an outer peripheral surface of the hollow circular cylindrical section. The oil passage grooves are located radially outside of the teeth. The oil passage grooves are formed by cutting an outer peripheral surface of the hollow circular cylindrical section.

    摘要： A stator core of a motor has a plurality of oil return passages extending through one surface and the other surface of the core. On the other surface of the stator core, a hydraulic diameter of each oil return passage is 5 mm or larger, and a ratio of a total area of the oil return passages to an area of a virtual circle having a diameter equal to a maximum outer diameter of the stator core is 5 to 15%. Lubricating oil accumulated on the other surface side of the stator core is returned to an oil reservoir through the oil return passages, and shortage of oil in the oil reservoir is prevented. Furthermore, a cross sectional area of the stator core can be securely kept, and motor efficiency is maintained.
