摘要： A waste collection and isolation device and a method for picking up waste materials without the need for the user to come in contact with the waste are disclosed. The device contains a system for ensnaring solid waste in a bag, a mechanism for activating the system for ensnaring the waste and a system for removing the bag. To use the device, the user installs a bag over a housing containing a plurality of overlapping cords. The user places the opening of the bag over the waste disposed on a surface and then activates the snaring mechanism causing the cords to entangle under the solid waste and to close the bag opening with the waste inside it. The bag comprises a drawstring and a tab in a fixed position. To fully close the bag, the user pulls on the drawstring and pulls the bag onto the tab.

The device comprises of a bag containing a drawstring threaded through the center of a flexible tab that is wedged in a fixed position such that pulling on the drawstring portion behind the tab draws in the bag opening into a closed mouth, drawing the closed mouth toward the tab and flexing the tab onto the closed mouth to seal it and prevent odiferous gasses from leaking out.

摘要： Embodiments of assemblies used for bending spinal needles and method for producing bent spinal needles used in medical procedures are disclosed. In one embodiment, a straight needle is placed in position for a fulcrum to apply pressure onto a designated spot on the needle and apply a bending pressure to bend the needle while the needle is supported at both ends. A barrier wall is configured to limit the movement of the needle resulting from the bending force to prevent overbending of the needle. In two other embodiments, a dual angle bending member enables selecting the bending angle desired by the user to be applied onto the needle. The angle of the bent needle is considerably reduced due to metal relaxation; however, the angle reduction is predictable and is taken into account in calculating the target bending angle.

In another embodiment, two jaws are configured for sideways movement and to close over the dropping by a remote handle. A collection bag is placed inside the jaws with its rim wrapped around the jaws in a way that closing the jaws ensnares the droppings inside the bag.
