    摘要: A food slicer has a support member including a base portion and an upstanding portion integrally formed with the base portion. The upstanding portion includes a rotating cutting blade for slicing food product. The base portion includes a food product table slidably secured thereto for movement across the cutting blade for holding product while it is being sliced. An adjustable gage plate is provided for determining the thickness of a food product to be sliced. A sharpening mechanism for sharpening the cutting blade as needed is removably secured to a portion of the product table to provide accurate sharpening of the cutting blade. The sharpening mechanism includes a first rotating sharpening member and a second deburring member where the first and second members are mounted independent from each other.

A control is connected for monitoring at least one resistance parameter of the resistive heating element as power is applied to the resistive heating element, the control configured to output a fault signal if the monitored resistance parameter exceeds a set threshold. The monitored parameter may be one or more of (i) a rate of resistance change during heater start-up, (ii) a rate of resistance change during steady state heater operation or (iii) a heater resistance corresponding to a set point in time following heater start-up.

    摘要: A fastener system having a fastener and a fastener retention member is provided. The fastener includes a threaded portion, a head, and a shank portion extending therebetween. The threaded portion includes threads having a major diameter greater than a diameter of the shank portion. The fastener retention member includes a body member having an axial opening therethrough, and at least one shank engagement member protruding into the axial opening of the body member. The shank engagement members define a diameter smaller than the major diameter of the threads of the threaded portion of the fastener. The shank portion of the fastener is received in the axial opening of the fastener retention member and is axially movable therein and trapped between a position where the head of the fastener abuts the fastener retention member and a position where the threaded portion of the fastener engages the shank engagement members.

A food contact wall surface of the fence may be angled away from the food contact location and an inner faced of the food contact wall may be angled away from a gage plate of the slicer.
