    摘要： Apparatus for tracking a seam between two work members comprising a sensor including a housing with an insulating mounting board therein carrying two first ferrite cores and two second ferrite cores on the upper surface thereof, the two first ferrite cores being each curved in planes normal to the board and each having the faces at the ends thereof lying in a common plane with the first ones of the faces thereof in alignment along a longitudinal axis in the board, the two second ferrite cores being each curved in planes normal to the board and each having a first one of the faces at the ends thereof lying in the common plane and spaced laterally of the longitudinal axis equidistantly, two first coils wound around the first cores and connected in series aiding relation to two second coils wound around the second cores, a signal generator connected to the coils and means for comprising the combined permeabilities in the flux paths of each first core and associated second core with the other first core and its associated second core to generate an error signal used to return the work element to a position overlying the seam.

    摘要： A ware washer, which is designed as a programmable machine or as a conveyor ware washer, has at least one pump, at least one line system connected to the pump, and at least one nozzle system connected to the line system and having at least one nozzle, a liquid being supplied at least intermittently to the at least one nozzle via the line system. A sensor device connected to a control device is provided for detecting a profile of the volumetric flow rate of the liquid in the line system and for comparing the detected flow rate profile with a predetermined flow rate profile. The control device is designed, in the event of a deviation of the detected flow rate profile from the predetermined flow rate profile, automatically either to carry out a regulating action on the operation of the ware washer as a function of the size and the time gradient of a difference between the predetermined flow rate profile and the detected flow rate profile or to issue a fault warning via an optical and/or acoustic interface or to issue a fault warning to a remote maintenance station via a remote control interface.

A control is connected for monitoring at least one resistance parameter of the resistive heating element as power is applied to the resistive heating element, the control configured to output a fault signal if the monitored resistance parameter exceeds a set threshold. The monitored parameter may be one or more of (i) a rate of resistance change during heater start-up, (ii) a rate of resistance change during steady state heater operation or (iii) a heater resistance corresponding to a set point in time following heater start-up.

    摘要： A liquid level gauge for a tank, especially a pressurized railway tank car, has a housing with a bottom opening mounted at a top opening of the tank. A horizontal shaft is rotatably mounted in the housing between opposed walls having parallel flat vertical inner surfaces. A sprocket is fixedly mounted on the central part of the shaft, on each end of which is fixedly mounted a ring magnet spaced from one of these walls. Complementary ring magnets are rotatably mounted outside but adjacent these opposed walls. The four ring magnets constitute a pair of magnetic drives. A track and cable guide assembly, supported in the tank, extends from the bottom portion of the tank. A perforated tape is trained over the sprocket on the shaft and another sprocket rotatably mounted in the bottom portion of the tank so that the tape is under tension. A probe assembly connected to the tape moves vertically when the sprocket in the housing is rotated. The probe assembly senses a liquid-vapor interface and rides in the track and cable guide assembly. An electric cable connected to the probe extends up to the housing. Pulleys and cables keep the electrical cable under tension. One magnetic drive is rotated to move the tape and operate the other magnetic drive that has its complementary ring magnet connected to a device to indicate the position of the probe.
