    摘要: Disclosed is an ink droplet expelling apparatus for expelling an ink droplet in response to an electric signal, compising a printing head provided with one or more ink chambers, electro-mechanical transducers disposed on the printing head corresponding to the ink chambers, and a driving signal generating circuit for producing electric signals for driving the electro-mechanical transducers. The elector-mechanical transducers are distorted by three different driving signals to reduce the volumes of the ink chambers to raise the pressure therein to thereby expel an ink droplet out of a nozzle formed at the front end of the head. The three driving signals are applied to the electro-mechanical transducers in a predetermined order, the first one giving the ink a velocity, the second one accelerating the ink to expel it in the form of an ink droplet out of the nozzle, the third one acting to suppress the pressure fluctuation in the ink chambers caused by the first and second driving signals as well as to supplement ink in the ink chambers from an ink tank.

The results are compared in Step S10, and operation of the centrifugal separator is controlled in Step S11. To obtain the measured data of the specimen, an attachment for analysis 15 is used, and the results are compared with the results of simulation, and parameters are corrected. To display the process in the middle of centrifugation, simulation is performed using the current parameters during operation of centrifugation, and the results are shown by graphic display on a display unit 2.

    摘要: A fixed-angle rotor, having a centrifuge tube inclined at a predetermined gradient angle with respect to a rotational axis, is used to obtain a sedimentation coefficient of sample particles. In one method, a distance in the centrifugal direction is corrected by the gradient angle .theta. of centrifuge tube 1. Sedimentation coefficient S.sub.20,W is calculated based on the corrected distance, and then the sedimentation coefficient S.sub.20,W is multiplied with sin(.theta.) to obtain a corrected sedimentation coefficient. In another method, a distance in the centrifugal direction is corrected by the gradient angle .theta., and also an angular acceleration .omega..sup.2 is corrected by dividing it by sin(.theta.). And then, the sedimentation coefficient S.sub.20,W is calculated based on thus corrected distance and corrected angular acceleration.

    摘要: A management system for use in a centrifuge equipped with a detachable rotor which is rotatable so as to separate density-different samples by a centrifugal force due to the rotation. The management system is for managing the lifetime of the rotor on the basis of the detection results of an operated-condition detector for detecting operated conditions such as the number of times of rotation, running time and rotational speed of the rotor. The management system includes a data storing device which is provided on the rotor to be rotatable therewith and is composed of a magnetic recording medium to allow keeping data relating to the operated conditions of the rotor. Also included in the management system is a data processing unit coupled through a data reading and writing device such as a magnetic head to the data keeping device and also coupled to the operated-condition detector to be responsive to the operated conditions. The data processing unit reads out previous data from the data keeping device at the time of start of operation of the centrifuge, processes the operated conditions from the detector together with the read previous data to write on the data storing device new data produced by the data processing.
