Abstract: A highly reliable display device is provided. A first light-emitting device, a second light-emitting device positioned adjacent to the first light-emitting device, and a first insulating layer are included; the first light-emitting device includes a first pixel electrode, a first EL layer over the first pixel electrode, and a common electrode over the first EL layer; the second light-emitting device includes a second pixel electrode, a second EL layer over the second pixel electrode, and the common electrode over the second EL layer; part of the first insulating layer is positioned at a position interposed between a side end portion of the first EL layer and a side end portion of the second EL layer; the first light-emitting device emits blue light; the second light-emitting device emits light of a color different from that from the first light-emitting device; the first EL layer includes a first light-emitting unit over the first pixel electrode, a first charge-generation layer over the first light-emitting unit, and a second light-emitting unit over the first charge-generation layer; and the second EL layer includes a third light-emitting unit over the second pixel electrode.

Abstract: An optical device with less influence of stray light is provided. The optical device is thin and includes a half mirror, a first lens, a retardation plate, a reflective polarizing plate, and a second lens. In the optical device, a geometric phase lens which has negative and positive refractive power is used as the first lens, whereby images can be focused after magnified optically. Thus, the optical device can have a wide viewing angle. In the case where stray light occurs due to birefringence of an optical material, negative refractive power of the first lens can prevent the stray light from being focused on the eye direction. Accordingly, image degradation recognized due to stray light can be prevented.

Abstract: A display apparatus having an image capturing function is provided. An image capturing device or a display apparatus capable of high-sensitivity image capturing is provided. The display apparatus includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, a first organic layer, a second organic layer, a common electrode, a first resin layer, a second resin layer, and a light-blocking layer. The first organic layer and the second organic layer are provided over the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode, respectively. The first resin layer and the second resin layer cover an end portion of the first organic layer and an end portion of the second organic layer, respectively. A side surface of the first organic layer and a side surface of the second organic layer face each other with the first resin layer and the second resin layer interposed therebetween. The common electrode includes portions overlapping with the first pixel electrode, the second pixel electrode, the first resin layer, and the second resin layer, and a depressed portion positioned between the first resin layer and the second resin layer in a plan view. The light-blocking layer is provided over the common electrode so as to fill the depressed portion of the common electrode.

Abstract: A display apparatus with high display quality is provided. The display apparatus includes a light-emitting device, a light-receiving device, a first plano-convex lens, and a second plano-convex lens. The light-emitting device and the light-receiving device each include a pair of electrodes and an organic compound provided between the pair of electrodes. One of the pair of electrodes is a conductive film having a light-transmitting property with respect to visible light. The first plano-convex lens and the second plano-convex lens are provided so that a surface opposite to a convex surface is in contact with the conductive film. A refractive index of the plano-convex lenses is greater than a refractive index of the conductive film.

Abstract: A display device which exhibits light with high color purity is provided. A display device with low power consumption is provided. An embodiment is a display device which includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, a light-emitting layer, a common electrode, a first protective layer, and a semi-transmissive layer. The light-emitting layer includes a first region positioned over the first pixel electrode and a second region positioned over the second pixel electrode. The common electrode is positioned over the light-emitting layer. The first protective layer is positioned over the common electrode. The semi-transmissive layer is positioned over the first protective layer. Reflectivity with respect to visible light of the semi-transmissive layer is higher than reflectivity with respect to visible light of the common electrode. The semi-transmissive layer does not overlap with the first region and overlaps with the second region. For example, the semi-transmissive layer may include an opening in a position overlapping with the first region.
