摘要: A reading comprehension support system or a reading comprehension support method that enables natural language to be input as query text and presents a reader with a part that is highly related to the input text is provided. The reading comprehension support system includes a document readout unit that reads out a subject document, a document division unit that divides the subject document into a plurality of blocks, a first distributed representation acquisition unit that acquires a distributed representation of a word in each of the plurality of blocks, a query text readout unit that reads out query text, a second distributed representation acquisition unit that extracts a word included in the query text and acquires a distributed representation of the word, and a similarity acquisition unit that compares distributed representations of words between the query text and each of the plurality of blocks and obtains similarity. From words included in the block, the similarity acquisition unit searches for a word that matches a word included in the query text, and obtains similarity between a distributed representation of the matching word in the block and a distributed representation of the matching word in the query text.

摘要: An authentication system for an electronic device with a high security level is provided. The authentication system includes a data retention means that accumulates first data related to a state of the electronic device being used by a first user registered in advance and generates a first data group, a first authentication means that authenticates a second user operating the electronic device as the first user and releases a locked state, a data acquisition means that acquires second data related to a state of the electronic device being used by the second user in a state where the locked state is released, and a second authentication means that authenticates the second user as the first user on the basis of the first data group and the second data and sets the electronic device to the locked state when the second user is not authenticated. The data retention means has a function of deleting the oldest first data of the plurality of pieces of the first data included in the first data group.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a semiconductor device where, even in a case of stacking a plurality of semiconductor elements provided over a substrate, the stacked semiconductor elements can be electrically connected through the substrate, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to one feature of the present invention, a method for manufacturing a semiconductor device includes the steps of selectively forming a depression in an upper surface of a substrate or forming an opening which penetrates the upper surface through a back surface; forming an element group having a transistor so as to cover the upper surface of the substrate and the depression, or the opening; and exposing the element group formed in the depression or the opening by thinning the substrate from the back surface. A means for thinning the substrate can be performed by partially removing the substrate by performing grinding treatment, polishing treatment, etching by chemical treatment, or the like from the back surface of the substrate.

摘要: The present invention provides a thin and bendable semiconductor device utilizing an advantage of a flexible substrate used in the semiconductor device, and a method of manufacturing the semiconductor device. The semiconductor device has at least one surface covered by an insulating layer which serves as a substrate for protection. In the semiconductor device, the insulating layer is formed over a conductive layer serving as an antenna such that the value in the thickness ratio of the insulating layer in a portion not covering the conductive layer to the conductive layer is at least 1.2, and the value in the thickness ratio of the insulating layer formed over the conductive layer to the conductive layer is at least 0.2. Further, not the conductive layer but the insulating layer is exposed in the side face of the semiconductor device, and the insulating layer covers a TFT and the conductive layer.

摘要: A search system capable of searching for an image with a similar represented concept is provided. The search system includes an input unit, a text extraction unit, a tag obtaining unit, and a tag similarity calculation unit. When image data to which an image label is assigned and document data including the image label are supplied to the input unit, the text extraction unit is configured to extract tag-obtaining-purpose text data from the document data on the basis of the image label. The tag obtaining unit is configured to obtain a tag including at least a part of words included in the tag-obtaining-purpose text data. The tag similarity calculation unit is configured to calculate similarity between tags. It is possible to search for an image having a greatly different feature value of the image itself but having a similar represented concept.
