    摘要: An array board 11b includes a gate line 19, a TFT 17, a pixel electrode 18, a display pixel PX, and a second interlayer insulation film 27. The TFT 17 includes a gate electrode 17a formed from a part of the gate line 19, a channel section 17d formed from an oxide semiconductor film 24, a source section 17b connected to one end of the channel section 17d, and a drain section 17c connected to another end of the channel section 17d and formed from the oxide semiconductor film 24 having resistance lower than the channel section 17d. The pixel electrode 18 is connected to the drain section 17c. The display pixel PX includes the TFT 17 and the pixel electrode 18. The second interlayer insulation film 27 has a second hole in a position overlapping the pixel electrode and the drain section 17c and not overlapping the gate electrode 17a.

The first liquid crystal display panel includes a first liquid crystal layer (1L) interposed between a pair of substrates, and first and second polarizers (1F, 1B) between which the first liquid crystal layer is interposed; the second liquid crystal display panel includes a second liquid crystal layer (2L) interposed between a pair of substrates, and a third polarizer (2F) placed on a side of the second liquid crystal layer that is closer to the first liquid crystal display panel; the second polarizer (1B) of the first liquid crystal display panel is on a side closer to the second liquid crystal display panel; and a transmission axis of the second polarizer (1B) and a transmission axis of the third polarizer (2F) are not orthogonal.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display panel includes pixels including a reflective region for display in a reflection mode and a transmissive region for display in a transmission mode. The liquid crystal display panel includes a liquid crystal layer including a nematic liquid crystal material having negative dielectric anisotropy and a chiral agent, a pixel electrode including a reflective conductive layer and a transparent conductive layer, a counter electrode, a light diffusing structure provided in common to the reflective region and the transmissive region, and a first vertical alignment film provided between the pixel electrode and the liquid crystal layer, and a second vertical alignment film provided between the counter electrode and the liquid crystal layer. At least one of the first vertical alignment film and the second vertical alignment film has an alignment regulating force defining a pretilt azimuthal direction, and in a case where the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the reflective region is dr, and the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the transmissive region is dt, dr and dt are in a range of 0.85≤dt/dr≤1.25.

    摘要: Each pixel has a reflection region to produce a display in reflection mode. The first substrate includes: a pixel electrode for each pixel; and a first vertical alignment film. The second substrate includes: an opposite electrode opposite the pixel electrodes; and a second vertical alignment film. Of the first and second vertical alignment films, only the second vertical alignment film exerts an alignment-regulating force that determines a pretilt angle. Each pixel electrode includes a plurality of subpixel electrodes. The opposite electrode has an opening in an area corresponding to one of four corners of at least one of the plurality of subpixel electrodes. Liquid crystal molecules in a thickness-wise middle portion of the liquid crystal layer on the subpixel electrode are oriented toward the opening.

A cured material is provided on at least one of the first and second alignment films, and a liquid crystal layer of liquid crystal molecules is provided in the gap. The display includes a pixel electrode with a plurality of elongated members arranged with spaces therebetween, wherein the plurality of elongated members are electrically connected to each other, and a common electrode configured to apply a voltage to the liquid crystal layer in cooperation with the pixel electrode. The plurality of elongated members include first, second, third and fourth elongated members extending, respectively, in first, second, third and fourth directions in plan view. The cured material regulates alignment directions of the liquid crystal molecules.

In the liquid crystal display device, three sub-pixel electrodes are connected by inter-electrode connection portions to form one pixel electrode. One TFT is connected to the pixel electrode. A screen of a liquid crystal display panel is divided into n (n≥2) of areas. Gate signal lines G of each divided area are scanned simultaneously one line at a time in each divided area. A backlight device emits light after completion of the scanning of each divided area.

    摘要: In a liquid crystal display device (100), each pixel row group is selected by a common scan signal voltage, each pixel row group including N pixel rows which adjoin one another in a column direction. Where two pixel rows which adjoin each other in a column direction and which are included in different pixel row groups are a first pixel row and a second pixel row, the first pixel row includes a pixel which has a pixel electrode (16) capacitively coupled with a gate bus line (12) which is associated with the second pixel row. When the first pixel row is included in the qth group, the second pixel row is included in the (q+1)th group. A scan signal voltage supplied to gate bus lines which are associated with the (q+1)th group switches from low to high before a scan signal voltage supplied to gate bus lines which are associated with the qth group switches from high to low.
