    Abstract: A communication terminal includes: a display, an input device for accepting a first operation instruction; a communication device for connection with a server and another terminal; and a control unit for receiving first contents from the server via the communication device according to the first operation instruction, determining whether connection with another terminal is established or not, transmitting the first contents to another terminal via the communication device when a determination is made that connection with another terminal is established, and causing the display to show the first contents.

    Abstract: An operation section (14) receives from a user (i) a selection instruction to select a household electric appliance as an operation target from among icons included in a layout image and (ii) an operation instruction to specify an operation content for the household electric appliance selected. A control section (21) generates, on the basis of (i) household electric appliance information stored in a setting information storage section (85) and (ii) the selection instruction and the operation instruction, an operation signal for instructing the household electric appliance selected by the user to perform the operation content specified by the user. This can improve usability for a household electric appliance operation system having a function of operating a plurality of household electric appliances.

    Abstract: In a case where a registration process of registering a second mode is carried out, (i) a communication terminal device (10) transmits, to an electronic device (20), according to a first communication method, an access instruction which instructs the electronic device (20) to access a server device (50), (ii) the electronic device (20) accesses the server device (50) in response to the access instruction, and (iii), upon reception of the access from the electronic device (20), the server device (50) registers the communication terminal device (10) and the electronic device (20) associated with each other. This makes it possible to improve security of a remote control system.
