The interpolated frame generating method comprises the steps of: providing a first frame and a second frame; calculating a first motion vector having a first x-component with a first x-length along the x-axis and a y-component with a first y-length along the y-axis; determining the first x-length and the y-length is an odd integral number of pixels; generating a second motion vector comprising: a second x-component with a second x-length smaller than the first x-length and a second y-component with a second y-length smaller than the first y-length, wherein the second x-length and the second y-length are an integral number of pixels respectively; the direction of the second x-component and y-component is the same as the first x-component and y-component respectively; and generating an interpolated frame between the first and the second frame according to the first frame and the second motion vector.

The processor may include a second pipeline stage configured to generate disparity values associated with the first tile and an outbound message from the first tile to one of neighboring tiles in the first image, wherein the disparity values and the outbound message are generated based on the data costs and inbound messages from the neighboring tiles to the first tile. The processor may further include a third pipeline stage configured to store the disparity values and the outbound message in a memory, wherein the outbound message is used by the second pipeline stage as one of the inbound messages during processing of a second tile selected from the first image.

    摘要: A method and system of extracting a perceptual feature set for image/video segmentation are disclosed. An input image is converted to obtain a hue component and a saturation component, where the hue component is quantized into a number of quantum values. After weighting the quantized hue component with the saturation component, the weighted quantized hue component and the saturation component are subjected to a statistical operation in order to extract feature vectors. Accordingly, the method and system provide overall segmentation results that are very close to human interpretation.
