摘要： An electrical connector (2, 3) provides an interface compatible with an internal micro Serial ATA connector. The electrical connector (2, 3) includes an insulated housing (21, 31), a first number of contacts (221, 222, 223, 321, 322, 323) assembled to the insulated housing (21, 31); and a second number of contacts (224, 225, 324, 325) assembled to the insulated housing (21, 31). The first number of contacts (221, 222, 223, 321, 322, 323) constitute a power segment and a signal segment compatible with the internal micro Serial ATA connector. The second number of contacts (224, 225, 324, 325) is used for mating with a new type of mating connector (3, 2) when higher transfer speed is needed.

摘要： Provided is a parallelepiped electrical connector shell with a terminal seat enclosed therein. The shell is mountable on a PCB and is adapted to connect to a port of a mating connector. The shell comprises a first latch on a top surface for engaging with a recess on a mating connector shell, two second latches on a top surface for clamping the mating connector, and a punched out stop mechanism inwardly extended from the shell. A distance from the stop mechanism to the port is a predetermined insertion depth of the mating connector. The invention can limit the insertion depth. Also, it can prevent a housing from displacing due to an excessive insertion force exerted by the mating connector.

摘要： An electrical connector includes a terminal holding frame, first and second sets of conductive terminals mounted respectively on upper and lower terminal holding plates of the terminal holding frame in a superposed relationship, and a first metal shield that encloses the terminal holding frame. The metal shield has a closed rear side to enhance electromagnetic shielding of the conductive terminals. In addition, a second metal shield encloses a partition plate between the upper and lower terminal holding plates of the terminal holding frame. The second metal shield is formed with a pair of resilient grounding strips disposed forwardly of the partition plate. When the electrical connector is installed in a housing of an electronic appliance, the resilient grounding strips abut against the housing for grounding purposes.

摘要： A ribbon cable connector is adapted to establish electrical connection with a ribbon cable, and includes an elongated terminal seat and an elongated clamping frame, which is removably connected to the terminal seat and which is adapted to clamp the ribbon cable between the terminal seat and the clamping frame. A ground terminal set includes a grounding plate positioned on the terminal seat, and a longitudinal row of ground terminals, which are formed integrally with the grounding plate. Two longitudinal rows of signal terminals are positioned on the terminal seat, and are located on two sides of the row of ground terminals. A number of positioning devices are disposed between the grounding plate and some of the signal terminals. A plurality of unitary conductive members are interposed between the grounding plate and the signal terminals. Each of the conductive members is placed within a selected one of the positioning devices, and is in electrical contact with the grounding plate and the corresponding signal terminal.
