摘要： A multi-directional hinge for a notebook computer has a seat with a pintle. A base is rotatably mounted on the seat and has a hollow flange formed at a central portion of the base for receiving the pintle. Multiple rotating washers are provided outside the pintle and received in the base. A first positioning washer is provided outside the pintle and abuts the rotating washers. A bottom cover is provided under the rotating washers and fastened at a bottom end of the pintle. Whereby, a horizontal view angle of an LCD monitor of the notebook computer can be adjusted, and the LCD monitor can be positioned at the desired viewing angle and will not freely leave this position if unintentionally touched.

摘要： A hinge with a torsion spring has a base, a pintle, at least one torsion spring, two joint members, and two washer assemblies. The base is attached to a support of an LCD display, and the pintle is mounted through the base. The torsion spring is mounted around the pintle, one end of the torsion spring is attached to the base, and the other end is attached to the joint member. When the angle of the display is adjusted, the joint members rotate relative to the pintle. With the torsion resilience provided by the torsion spring, the support will not be rotated with the joint members, so that the users can adjust the display angle with one hand.

The pivot pin is mounted rotatably through the support and the holders on the base of the first bracket. The second bracket is mounted to the pivot pin. The torsion spring assemblies are mounted on the pivot pin and correspond respectively to the holders on the first bracket. Each torsion spring assembly has a disk and a torsion spring. The disk is mounted securely to the pivot pin and has a spring hook. The torsion spring is mounted around the pivot pin and has two ends. One end is mounted securely on the corresponding holder, and the other end is engaged detachably with the spring hook on the disk. The torsion springs provide a recovering force to keep the pivot pin from pivoting inadvertently.

The male segment also rotates in relative to the female segment; meanwhile, the head is rotate along the fastening portion. When the lugs are engaged in the notches respectively, the display panel is positioned at a certain position, the plane face is against the fastening portion so that the shaft cannot rotate continuously to the same direction.

The shaft is mounted to the body without additional fasteners such as C-shaped clasps so the hinge has a simple structure and a low cost.

摘要： A suspension hinge that connects a liquid crystal display (LCD) to a roof of a vehicle has a central bracket, a first shaft assembly, a second shaft assembly and a third shaft assembly. The central bracket has a connecting wing, a first wing and a second wing. The first and second wings are oppositely formed perpendicularly on the connecting wing. The first and second shaft assemblies are respectively mounted pivotally on the first and second wings to allow the LCD to be opened and closed in relative to the roof. The third shaft assembly is mounted pivotally on the connecting wing to allow the LCD to rotate in relative to the roof. Then the viewing angle of the LCD can be adjusted easily.
