    摘要: Disclosed is an electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly for direct methanol fuel cells, wherein a solid polymer electrolyte membrane is held between a pair of electrodes each composed of a catalyst layer coated over and/or impregnated in a porous supporting body. This electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly for direct methanol fuel cells is characterized in that the solid polymer electrolyte membrane is obtained by irradiating a resin membrane with radiation and graft-polymerizing a radically polymerizable monomer. The electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly for direct methanol fuel cells is further characterized in that the catalyst layer of the anode electrode comprises a catalyst, wherein platinum group metal or platinum-containing alloy particles having a particle size of 5 nm or less are supported by carbon particles, and a solid polymer electrolyte, and the noble metal amount in the catalyst layer of the anode electrode is not more than 5 mg/cm2. By using such a catalyst, there can be obtained a direct methanol fuel cell wherein high output is achieved by using high methanol concentration.

    摘要: A compound having a group --N.dbd.N-- is added to a conductive silicone rubber composition comprising an organopolysiloxane, conductive carbon black, and an organic peroxide. The composition allows for atmospheric hot air vulcanization with the aid of an organic peroxide irrespective of the inclusion of carbon black and is significantly improved in shelf stability. The conductive silicone rubber resulting therefrom is free of voids or surface tack and has improved heat resistance and conductivity.

    摘要: A flexible rack member has a substantially V-shaped cam portion formed therein. There is a substantially U-shaped guide slit formed on a wall of a housing. A support bar projected from a reproducing unit is formed so as to fit in a cam portion through the guide slit. Further, tray racks are formed on respective side faces of each tray. Joint pins mounted on both end portions of the rack member are guided by a guide groove formed on each tray while being in mesh therewith. As a result, by moving the rack member between the trays, an up-and-down movement of the reproducing unit, a movement of the reproducing unit between the trays, and an opening and closing of each tray can be carried out successively. Additionally, there is a tray gear member as the only drive source, and a contact portion formed on the guide groove is a key to switch each operation. The described arrangement provides an inexpensive disk reproducing device which enables the operation to be switched with an accurate timing.
