    摘要： A circuit for protecting a horizontal synchronous signal comprises a horizontal synchronous signal detecting circuit responsive to horizontal synchronous pulses included in a composite synchronous signal of a reproduced PCM signal, first and second horizontal synchronous pulse supplementing or adding circuits and an output switching circuit. The output switching circuit operates so that the first supplementing circuit delivers a first supplementary pulse in the absence of a single pulse of the original horizontal synchronous signal, and the second supplementing circuit produces one or more second supplementary pulses in the absence of a plurality of continuous pulses of the original horizontal synchronous signal. When the circuit returns to a condition in which produced horizontal synchronous pulses are synchronous with the original horizontal synchronous pulses, the time interval between adjacent pulses of the original pulses is detected to see whether the interval is either longer or shorter than a predetermined value. As a result, when a pulse first appeared after the returning point is within the predetermined interval, that pulse is removed so that the number of output horizontal synchronous pulses is correct.

    摘要： In a rotary head type digital information signal recording and reproducing apparatus having plural rotary heads mounted on a rotary drum so as to be capable of recording and reproducing signals on parallel, oblique tracks on a magnetic tape, a tracking signal is recorded on at least one portion of each track which is not overlapped with a portion of each track where a digital information signal is recorded to avoid interference between the tracking signal and information signal. The tape travel speed and the rotary drum rotation speed are changed depending upon the transmission rate for a digital information signal to be recorded and reproduced to make the wavelength of a recorded signal frequency constant irrespective of the signal transmission rate. Tracking control is enhanced without increasing the error rate.

    摘要： A digital information signal transmitting/receiving method and system having a transmitter for transmitting an encrypted digital information signal and a plurality of receivers for receiving the encrypted digital information signal from the transmitter. The transmitter simultaneously distributes a plurality of identification codes associated with the receivers at a time ahead of the digital information signal. The receivers detect whether a particular identification code assigned to the receiver was included within a received plurality of identification codes. When the particular identification code has been detected as having been received the received encrypted digital information signal is decrypted into the original digital information. In order to request that a particular identification code be included so as to allow access to a program, either one of the receivers or the recorders each generate an information request signal. The transmitter is responsive to the information request signals to add to the digital information signal at a time ahead of the digital information signal, identification signals for identifying the receivers or the recorders which generated the information request signals, thereby producing a transmission signal formed of those signals, and to distribute this transmission signal to the receivers. The recorders control the received information signal to be recorded in response to the identification signals received by the receivers.
